Recensioni per Toggle Referrer (with optional spoofing feature)
Toggle Referrer (with optional spoofing feature) di Manuel Reimer

di Karpan Koroviziniek, 2 anni faSimple but functional, does exactly what it says, can't ask for more really. I wish the author would do an equivalent "on/off button" add-on for the dom.storage setting, especially as more and more sites annoyingly use local storage but I refuse to have it turned on permanently for obvious privacy reasons.

I use this extension for literally a single website, and it's extremely annoying to have to always disable it when I'm doing anything other than accessing that one website otherwise a lot of stuff breaks.

pubblicato il un anno faSorry, but the primary goal of this extension is to disable the referrer primarily (which is also why there is a setting in the Add-on preferences to auto-disable on browser restart and why I create the spoofing list to even NOT use the referrer on sites that insist on it).
Maybe you find another Add-on which fits your usecase better. - Valutata 5 su 5di RaulMacro, 2 anni fa

For example, can i make it look like I linked from Bing? Also, if I do not use the spoofer, will it appear as though I went to the website directly, or will it indicate that I blocked the website from receiving the referrer information?

pubblicato il 4 anni faThe "spoofer" is *only* for known problematic websites. The rules are visible here:

If you come across some website which does not work with Referrer disabled, then you may open an Issue here:
https://github.com/M-Reimer/togglereferrer/issues
describing which website this is.
The goal of the "spoofer" is not to spoof random Referrer values but to make websites work well even without a valid referrer. The idea is to spoof just as much referrer as needed to make the website happy. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 14608175, 4 anni fa

pubblicato il 5 anni faThe latest version allows to use Twitter even with Referrer disabled if you use the spoofing feature.
