Tell me then, on your MAIN PAGE in Mozilla Extensions, are you saying that you are being up front about it just because the LINK TO your license agreement is listed just above the following? "This extension does not capture any information or usage analytics at all."
Can you REALLY not see how people would be lulled into a false sense of security by the above-quoted statement? And please: DON'T come arguing semantics just because the word 'collect' is absent, when the word 'capture' in the quoted statement in question is used instead, because even a fool with only a rudimentary knowledge of the English language could catch that! I would ask what you would expect most people to think, but you will likely hide behind something to the effect of you not being able to help the person who is stupid enough to not read the terms of a semi-binding license agreement and that you have deceived no one in any way... technically.
And, in most cases, YES people should read license agreements but when you put 'This extension does not capture any information or usage analytics at all.' in the very next line just below the link to your agreement, well, let us just say that it IS most certainly more than enough to turn around and bite you and were it a more serious matter, while you certainly could win, there is more than a shadow of a doubt that you are being purposely deceptive.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il un anno faWe DO NOT capture, collect, store any analytics information whatsoever for our Firefox extension - nothing at all. We removed the code! The listing IS NOT deceptive. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 17800511, 2 anni fa

I assume this bug was caused by a recent update. Searched for a bug report link/form but none found so I'm posting this here instead.
FF 88.0b2 (64-bit)
Edit: The issue appears on just about every page load as far as I can tell. The only exception being pages on addons.mozilla.org, though I think addons might not be allowed to access pages on that subdomain(?). Even localhost pages cause the error message to appear - I originally thought it was an issue with my code.
The only thing I've found that makes the error message stop showing up is by disabling this addon. I tested this with all my other addons disabled. My current version is 4.8.4.Replica dello sviluppatore

Perfect tool to help developers and QA folks keep up with accessibility requirements. Love the integration with the dev tools, the links to free, contextualized helps guides and the fact that the entire axe-core engine is open-sourced.

pubblicato il 5 anni faHey Alex, thanks for using axe! Did you give us a bad review because this privacy policy is not easy to find and review? We thought we were being very up-front about it.
Funciona bien.
- Valutata 4 su 5di Re:Later, 5 anni faI'm a little bit surprised that axe addon doesn't provide a feature to enlarge the font size inside developer tools and ignores STRG++. Thus I'm sitting here and try to read grey micro messages on grey background. That's the missing star.
