    What a uniquely POWERFUL addon! It works VERY WELL INDEED! I can't figure out why strings I place into the "Name Matches" or "Url Matches" fields affect the resulting list not at all.

    I'm intermediate at regular expressions and I do understand the intended effects of the "filter, modify or does not effect the search" radio buttons, but these seem to have no effect. Why are my attempts at filtering not working?

    It would be great if we didn't have to refresh the page and could have a big fat: APPLY CHANGES BUTTON to quickly test various attempts at filtering.

    Thank you for the hard work that went into this fantastic and helpful bookmark addon!

    The button you are looking for is "Dupes".

    Concerning your failed attempts: This is not an appropriate forum for such a discussion.

    Can you please be more precise what is corrupt? Have you downloaded the add-on from mozilla.org?

    Although the concept is great and it's very simple to use, when I deleted duplicates it deleted every single bookmark...

    Presumably, you marked all bookmarks for deletion. You should have used the buttons to mark only a certain subset of them (e.g. all except newest).

    I hope that you can use the firefox function in the standard bookmark editor to restore your previous state. (And then you might try again as described above).

    It does the job. That's essential, since other bookmark managers doesn't have (even though they should) that tool.

    Does the trick. The UI could be made better, but it's bare-bones and does what it promises.

    This addon does what it should, has lots of options, but most importantly, it allows you to define the deletion rules along with which bookmark folder to apply them on, which other extensions don't do. This allows you to delete duplicates in just about any way you wish.

    For example, you can remove the duplicates only in one folder that you specify, or you can select the folders in which duplicate bookmarks will not be deleted, while deleting them everywhere else. Very useful.
