- Valutata 2 su 5di dima ilunga, 9 giorni faI ran the add-on for the first time. In 2 hours it checked 5351 links out of 5354. Then another 1.5 hours passed and nothing changed. It is impossible to understand what is happening: no log is displayed. It is also impossible to understand what to do next: should I wait or delete the add-on? It is also inconvenient that it is impossible to stop the link scanning process. But most importantly, how do I stop or end it all? And then start it again and wait for another 2 hours?

pubblicato il 8 giorni faAn option to stop the process is not needed. If it doesn't progress for hours, it's obvious that something has gone wrong and that it's not normal. In this case, I don't understand why you didn't report a problem and instead gave a bad rating straight away without giving the developer a chance to look at the problem.

Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 2 mesi faWhat you write is not possible at all. You always have the full control of your bookmarks. It's technically not possible that you have to uninstall the add-on to delete your bookmarks or to do anything else with your bookmarks.

- Valutata 1 su 5di Christian Alain Martel, 3 mesi faBookmarks Organizer by Sören Hentzschel slowed down my computer to a point where I couldn't work, and provided absolutely no features to help me organize my bookmarks. Plain vanilla features like broken links, doubles, etc have no real added value. Doubles often are used as a web page has material of interest in more than one level of your bookmark hierarchy, and broken links have value as many times web sites are updated and still exist, so if you still have the broken link you can find the original web site and mark the new corresponding page. This app isn't ready for use. Useful features would include moderate CPU use to work in background and allow user to continue to work, capacity to not just find a book mark in your library but locate where in your directory tree it is located, assistance in classifying bookmarks, etc.

pubblicato il 3 mesi faWith all due respect, this review obviously only serves the purpose of devaluing my work. All the features are known before installation and nobody would install the extension if they didn't like it. No, the extension won't slow down the computer. The Internet speed, yes, because the extension has to open many bookmarks at once to check them. This is how EVERY extension of this type works, without exception. To say that features like detecting broken bookmarks have no value is nonsense. Because that is the main function for which an estimated 99.9 percent of all users use this extension. It is also strange that with almost 14,000 active users, you are the only one (!) for whom it is supposedly not possible to continue using the computer.
I'm always grateful for constructive feedback, but none of what you write is really tenable. This has nothing to do with construtive feedback, this is only defamatory.

- Valutata 3 su 5di Teagan, un anno faThis Add-On Might Work, BUT . . .
So, first I encourage everyone to read the "About this extension" section before using the extension to familiarize yourself with a few things like it's Features, Shortcuts and Planned features. Now, the 'Bookmarks Organizer' does what it claims. However, there are some things that the developer didn't think of. One of them and maybe the most important, is a Pause and/or Stop button. Having a Pause and/or Stop Button would be helpful for anyone that has 5000 - 10000+ bookmarks, for the following reasons; It would allow anyone using this extension to pause it and/or stop it, so they could go through the bookmarks that have already been scanned. The other reason is that, if you expect this scan to only take 10 to 25 minutes, think again, especially if your a bookmark addict and you have 5000 - 10000+ bookmarks saved. Because with that many bookmarks saved it's going to take a ... a few hours if not more.
The only other thing I can think of is something that apparently will be added to an up and coming version of the extension. That the ability or the option to 'select multiple bookmarks at once rather than only being able to delete them one by one'. Other than that, give this extension a try, it does work. It's a little slow, but it works. I gave it 3 Stars, but I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't so slow. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 15329826, un anno faDon't mind the negative reviews - they are haters who ruin their time...
This plug-in is fantastic, simple to use and very efficient to clean up the bookmarks.
It does what it's intended to and in a very clear way.
Thanks to Sören for this well craft piece of software ! - Valutata 5 su 5di IT retired, un anno fa5+ stars. What a great piece of software. It is very handy, works like a charm and saves a shi* load of manual work. Please don't get demotivated by all the nincompoops that rate you 1 star. Good stuff!
