That's desguished spyware in counterpart to provide you a pretended nice service for free.
And just about the service provided: this kind of extensions (lots of similar exist like this one) can modify the webpages on-the-fly and also can censure some parts or search results to guide you to buy to a specific shop... instead of a concurrent. And guess who is paying the extension editor to do that? Sellers?
Just look at what this extension is requiring at the Permissions part...

Not spyware but there to help our members get free cash online. As per our Terms of Use no private information is sold to third parties. I understand it might be how it's monetised, but without disclosing it upfront it's dishonest.

Thanks! - Valutata 4 su 5di Mike, 3 anni faGenerally works well, but lately they've added an eBay tracking pixel that gets blocked when Tracking Protection is enabled. This results in the `eBay Pixel` alt text being displayed as the image can't be downloaded. If they really _have_ to add the pixel, then they should at least add `overflow: hidden` to the styling for it.
