- Valutata 1 su 5di staysafe, 8 anni faLike others, I am disabling this addon, mostly for the annoying Firefox extra tab at startup, and also because I agree with others about not wanting my saved data being required to be sent to the cloud.
- Valutata 1 su 5di scott, 8 anni faThe new 'web extension' version doesn't work on current Firefox running on up-to-date Ubuntu 14.04.5.
- Valutata 1 su 5di ant, 8 anni faNo way to avoid the Evernote's tutorial as a second homepage if you are not loged in and and there is no option to keep you loged in.
It seems this is a problem that the complement has every while. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 12680430, 8 anni faThe Web Clipper App was one of the outstanding features of this programm. If this did not work any more, I can use any other programm for my basic notebook requirements.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Steeeve, 8 anni faI did not set Evernote's tutorial as a homepage and there is no option to turn it off! To make it worse, I cannot login to this plugin anymore, making it useless.
So, I guess I am disabling it until such time the developers turn the tutorial popup OFF and fix the login issue. I was trying to get into using Evernote, but that is hard to do when my main source of making notes is broken and annoying me every time I open my browser. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 12679518, 8 anni fa692 삭제하고 620으로 설치하면 됨

서울휘님 감사~ - Valutata 4 su 5di Novite, 8 anni faI use Evernote Clipper and uBlock Origin.
the entry "||evernote.com^$third-party" in Fanboy's Annoyance List block Clipper connect to evernote server. - Valutata 2 su 5di Lynx__, 8 anni faReally useful, but annoying to use.
* Please enable clipping to local app.
* Please enable (as in chrome ext) "create new notebook" in drop down.
Please make it possible to register username and password in evernote-settings in about:addons. It is so frustrating to log in every time. - Valutata 1 su 5di A Firefox User, 8 anni faIt looks like Evernote has again decided removed the ability to clip to the local app, instead forcing everyone to clip to the website. They did this years ago, but backtracked after all the negative reaction, which they are getting again.
Long ago, their add-on used to be rated 4.5-5 stars. Then they removed local clipping and all the negative reviews dropped it down to 3 stars. They did it again, and I wouldn't be surprised if the rating drops to 1 star.
Evernote, learn from your mistakes. Re-enable local clipping!
I have downgraded to Version 6.2.0 to regain access to local clipping. - Valutata 1 su 5di LJ Wolfe, 8 anni faThis used to be a useful add-on. Now, it opens a quick-start tab every time I restart FF, makes me sign in every time instead of remembering, and doesn't remember my settings so every time I log in I have to go fix them again.
I'm so very, very glad I didn't fall for their "get premium" scam when they added restrictions to free users, because I see that paid users are having the same issues. Another good app ruined, probably by bean-counters. - Valutata 1 su 5di Gefest, 8 anni faСейчас даже не дает заллогиниться - не видно даже куда нажиматть - пропал текст с буттонов. Статьи сохраняет в каком ему удобно варианте
- Valutata 4 su 5di Yield, 8 anni faApparently the latest firefox update broke a lot of addons, one of them is the evernote web clipper.
- Valutata 1 su 5di asongbird, 8 anni faWhere to begin?
Besides the irritating problem of having to sign in repeatedly every time I try to use the Clipper, when my browser comes up after being reloaded or restarted I get this page:
https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209125877
Which gives me a “quick start” page tutorial…which I DON’T need!
I also don’t need the time-to-time prompts “Evernote can do this…and that…and that”
And if I sign in it takes me to the whole library as a web page.
I don’t WANT to use the web version habitually…when I want the whole library open I open it specifically for that.
And now, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, the clipper will not work…not active, has a red dot, does not give me the signin access at all either.
I am a Premium member. Rather frustrated one.
I never ever understand why people screw around with apps and services that work perfectly fine the way they are.
Sigh. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 12668752, 8 anni faEvery time Firefox opens, Web Clipper opens an initial login tab, also now I have to login from the tool bar icon every time Firefox starts. Same in Chrome. A good product going from bad to worse. Microsoft is offering a migration tool to One Note - https://www.onenote.com/import-evernote-to-onenote. Now that One Note is free to use in Windows 10 off I go to One Note and on the way I'll cancel my premium account with Evernote
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 12668698, 8 anni faSince the update of the webclipper this does not work anymore:
when I had clipped a webpage, then the clipped note opens in a new local (!) Evernote window, so that I can file it in my desired Evernote notebook.
At the moment it is filed automatically in the standard notebook. So I need an extra step: going to my local Evernote, going into the standard notebook and filing the clipped note into the right notebook.
This happens ALTHOUGH I have set the Evernote (for Windows 7) settings to "open clipped note in a new window"!!
(Firefox 50.0, newest Evernote for Windows 7) - Valutata 5 su 5di AlexandMcB, 8 anni faI installed this add-on and like so many others I got VERY frustrated with the "unknown error" in the sign-in box.
So I did some googling, and found the suggestion regarding AdBlock below (adding the @@||http://evernote.com^ exception); however, this did not help.
So I went one step further, and completely disabled AdBlock.
The sign-in worked flawlessly.
After that, I figured I'd re-enable AdBlock, only to find that suddenly WebClipper thought I had no Internet access. So I pulled up the filter preferences, and searched the whole set of list subscriptions for 'evernote.'
I believe there were four different entries, not including the exception rule I'd made.
Disabling those 4 list entries solved all the issues I was having.
I hope this helps other users that are frustrated with this add-on and that the dev's take a moment to let these frustrated users know that the add-on is 100% usable, just not automatic when paired with several (extremely common) adblocking add-ons and lists that are out there.
Hopefully there's a way to adjust the add-on's permissions or path such that it doesn't get stuck in this dead-end. At least a "no connection available. Are you connected to the internet? are you using an adblocker?" dialog that directs users to an Evernote how-to for disabling adblocking for Evernote functions.
Thanks for making this app! - Valutata 4 su 5di xray, 8 anni fauBlock origin (and other ad blockers using adblock rules subscriptions) block work Evernote Web Clipper.
Reason filter "BitBlock List" it contains a rule:
||evernote.com^$third-party
If you disable it, the problem goes away. You can add a filter permitting.
@@||http://evernote.com^ - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 12665860, 8 anni faI hadn't updated for a while, but noticed I needed to login.
Unfortunately I get an "unknown" error every time, making web clipper useless.
I tried updating everything, Firefox, Evernote, and web clipper, but same result. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 12253899, 8 anni faImpossible to log in, when you click the add-on icon, a dialog box appears with two blank text fields, a blue button and a green button - no explaining text whatsoever, and neither button does anything when clicked.
I'm considering cancelling my premium membership, Evernote doesn't seem to be listening to its customers any more. - Valutata 1 su 5di Petzi, 8 anni faThe new version does not clip local web pages (HTML-Files) anymore! This is not considered as a bug but made by design: Whenever I tried it I got a message that local files can't be clipped.
I always thought that new versions should be improve performance and functionality, but not so with this version… - Valutata 2 su 5di Steve, 8 anni faThe new version seems to introduce some new features, but I no longer stay logged in as I did with previous versions...which means logging in (with 2-step authentication) every single time I open a browser window. Paid subscription here, and admittedly a little frustrated.
- Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 12662084, 8 anni fasame err with @xRay's, except that I'm using Arch Linux.
After I upgrade Firefox to 50.0, I get this err every time I try to login. - Valutata 1 su 5di ktua, 8 anni faIf I could give it .5 star rating I would everytime I open firfox evernote opens a tab, I can not get it to stop doing this..it is frustrating!!
