- Valutata 4 su 5di Flush, 6 anni faКлассное дополнение, но есть одно НО! Хочется чтобы в любом из режимов отображения можно было найти подписки на открытых вкладках. И тогда будет 5 звезд, однозначно!
- Valutata 4 su 5di sarf2k4, 6 anni faProbably the best rss feed extension I ever used so far. Each new feeds are grouped into their respective group to avoid clutter, also we can put some rules on incoming feeds.
- Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 12649351, 6 anni faI like it, easy to setup and easy looking except that I cant find how to make it show only "Titles" and not all the page for each feed, so I keep scrolling to see all my feeds. Maybe I didn't find that option if you can advise.

pubblicato il 6 anni faYou can change view mode with the toolbar buttons. Titles-only view can be also activated with keyboard shortcut '2'. See Feedbro help for more tips. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 14568584, 6 anni falook ok: very manual setup; not particularly visual
doesnt support redit rss feedsReplica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 anni faFeedbro does support Reddit feeds but they don't work if you have "Trackers" set to "Always" in Firefox options. This setting blocks all XMLHttpRequests to Reddit. You need to set it to "Only in private windows" because Firefox still doesn't support whitelisting of sites. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 14547592, 6 anni faFeedbro is a fantastic piece of software. I would change my rating to 5-stars if there was a setting to remove "X-Frame-Options" from web request headers. This ideally should be turned off by default. It would allow Feedbro to load feeds such as Reddit or Microsoft's .NET Core blog.
Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 anni faEDIT: Feedbro 3.41.7 now supports X-Frame-Options modification so view mode 6 should work for all sites.
Note that you have to set "Trackers" setting to "Only in Private Windows" in about:preferences#privacy if you want to load Reddit feeds. This is because Firefox has an internal "tracker list" where Reddit is blacklisted. So Firefox blocks all XMLHttpRequests to Reddit if you have Trackers setting set to Always.
Other than that I guess your comment is valid especially for view mode 6 (embedded iframe view). Some sites send HTTP Response headers that prevent embedding their site in an iframe. We'll check if it's possible to get around this without introducing performance penalties or other side effects. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 9786606, 6 anni faVery nice reader. There are a few things that are bugging me though (firefox 64.0 x32):
I have selected for it to show only unread messages, but when I mark an entry as read, it will not disappear until I reload the feed, folder or whatever. Is that intentional?
In the 5th view at least, clicking an article text will expand it, but clicking it again won't make it return to its original state. So depending on the feed I'm stuck with giant images. (e.g. http://www.computerbase.de/rss/news.xml)
Also, having a way to inject custom css and js would be nice.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 anni fa1. Yes it's intentional that items marked as read aren't hidden right away. This gives the user the possibility to "undo" the mark as read operation.
2. That's true. Note that you can collapse by pressing Enter but currently "closing by clicking" isn't supported. This is because closing isn't really needed and a careless attempt to click a hyperlink in the article could result in collapsing the article which could infuriate some users (we tested this :)).
3. Custom CSS support would be easy to implement but the CSS hasn't been very stable (we have changed it a lot along the way) which could easily lead to breaking custom CSS configs and an avalanche of support requests and complaints. So it hasn't been implemented so far. We are open to all UI improvement ideas though. - Valutata 4 su 5di The_Mick, 6 anni faThis is a decent replacement for the old built-in Firefox RSS lists, but there is one major problem for me: it doesn't let me scan a lot of headlines at once, which is the main purpose of RSS.
MOST stories are listed repeatedly 2 through 7 times, and there are 3 lines for each headline listing, so on my 17" screen laptop with standard 100% sized windows, I'm seeing only 14 headlines of which there are only 5 different ones for ABC New Top Stories. One of the three lines for each headline tells me it's from ABC News Top Stories - which it shouldn't need to do - and other is a blank line. - Valutata 4 su 5di jadams, 6 anni faVery good. Only missing thing is full text like in Inoreader and a sidebar view like the removed Live Bookmarks of Firefox. If you add those than it would be great addon.

pubblicato il 6 anni faFeedbro has built-in partial feed->full text feed engine. Right click the feed in the feed tree, select Properties and then experiment with the "Feed Entry Content" setting (change it + click Preview). Then Save. New articles loaded after that will use the new setting. - Valutata 4 su 5di GDragon, 6 anni fa
- Valutata 4 su 5di AC680x0.oldman, 6 anni faI am using it comfortably from Fx64.
I'm really happy with RSS surroundings.
Just around the left sidebar, it seems that there is only one file D & D for sorting, but I would like this to support D & D with multiple files and hierarchical organization with directory.
Thank you for providing a comfortable tool.

It would still be nice to be able to be able to see articles "from the future", even if it's just a manual option on individual feeds. I mean, the article exists, doesn't it?
The one big annoyance with this extension is that it ignores articles from the "future", even if it's just a timezone difference. I have one feed that always updates at midnight UTC, but I don't get it in the feed until several hours later when it's midnight in my timezone. It would be nice if this "feature" could be turned off in general, or for specific feeds.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 anni faIt doesn't work like that. Timezones are taken into account in date stamps. So any article will become immediately visible regardless of timezone differences as long as the timestamp of the article is not in the future. For example if some feed contains an article timestamped to year 2124, it won't become visible before that year is actually active. It sounds like in this case the feed posts some articles so that they are datestamped to the future.
If you want more clarity with this, please send the feed URL and your timezone info to feedbro.reader@gmail.com
EDIT: the reason Feedbro doesn't load articles that are timestamped to the future is that it would complicate many things. For example if you have a Rule that would popup a notification when a new article arrives, should that Rule trigger when an article is loaded that is timestamped in to the future? Probably not but then when should it trigger? That would then require some background scanning process to find articles that haven't been triggered by rules but are already in the database... etc. It would complicate and slow down the code quite a bit. Unless the feed is super floody, Feedbro will eventually load the article so it shouldn't really be an issue. And this is relevant for maybe 0.001% of the feeds out there so it's an obvious WON'T FIX decision. - Valutata 4 su 5di farpoint, 6 anni faFeedbro looks like a great feed reader. I love the clear interface.
What I miss:
->Synchronization with FirefoxSync, so that I have the same data at home and in the office.
At the moment i try to save interesting article over the "Send to Pocket" option.
It would be great if it automatically copy the tags into Pocket without retype it. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 14461573, 6 anni faI satisfied by all features except one little misconvenience. I can't resize articles. I put 85% or 250% - this shows the same size. Why is that?
Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 anni faThe feed probably has markup that has hardcoded font size? - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 14454000, 6 anni faI have the same problem as jowwww. Everything else in ff works properly and as it should. After running the recommended tool, I agree that there is a corruption, though resetting ff and losing all addons, saved passwords, etc is extreme for one addon. Something in this addon has caused the corruption. I have the exact same problem across two computers in the same day. Both win10 and 64bit ff. I was really excited to finally find a replacement for Bamboo so I could finally update ff.
UPDATE: Just noticed note on main page to this addon concerning update. Sadly, I understand and will try reset.
UPDATE 2: Thank you to the developer for your response. I apologize for neglecting to read all the information you posted on the description page.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 anni faFeedbro does not cause the corruption. IndexedDB corruption can occur when Firefox updates. The profile/IndexedDB functionality completely breaks (has nothing to do with Feedbro) since it breaks for all add-ons and websites. There are bugs about this in Bugzilla. - Valutata 4 su 5di Klaas Vaak, 6 anni faA good RSS reader. Nevertheless, I am confused about 1 aspect. When I want to mark all articles in a feed as read I use Shift+A while the feed in the left hand pane is selected. The number (whatever that means) on that feed disappears, but the articles remain shown as unread.
You can also double-click on the feed in the left hand pane. But if I do that, often there is still a number that remains shown for that feed, even though all articles in that feed are shown as "read".
I do not understand what the real difference between these 2 methods, - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 14280828, 6 anni faNice browser based RSS reader. There are a few features that I miss from my standalone readers (Thunderbird, QuiteRSS, RSSOwl).
- Like to navigate the RSS article items using the keyboard arrow keys.
- I would like the reading pane (view mode) to give an option to have the reading pane on the bottom and not just the right.
- In the magazine view mode, it would be nice to have the option to load and then navigate content in the pane rather than in a separate tab. The only options I see are either a summary or just the initial page.
Otherwise, good and functional add-on.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 anni faThank you for the review.
1. You can see all keyboard shortcuts when you press the "?" icon in the toolbar. Navigation with up and down arrow between articles is not intentionally possible because it would screw up scrolling the article in view.
2. "Reading pane at the bottom" won't be implemented since it leaves very little space for the actual article. I know many users are accustomed to this type of view but you'll find that viewmode 3 is superior to that especially with modern widescreen displays.
3. In viewmodes 2, 4 and 5 you can click elsewhere in the article text/image to expand it within Feedbro (so don't click the article title, click e.g. the summary text in magazine mode). - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 12955352, 6 anni faWorks pretty good, but I'm still missing one big feature: no auto feed update option
Feeds are a great way to keep up to date about a diverse range of topics and the better the reader the more feeds you subscribe to.
Problem with having a feed reader in your web browser is that all of them will constantly broadcast the feeds you've subscribe to, anywhere you take your device to.
This is also true for feedbro, even with the autoscan interval set to the max (why is there no simple off option?).
Not only does it unnecessarily slow down the browser, it is also bad opsec.
Please add a truly and strictly "manual update" option.
Also, opening some menu or hovering a feed should preferably not lead to unnecessary dns requests (maybe when DoH finds widespread adoption this would be less of a concern). I think preventing this from within feedbro is not feasible or too much of a hassle. Disabling network.dns.disablePrefetch Firefox-wide it is then.Replica dello sviluppatore

- Valutata 4 su 5di bedwttr, 6 anni faLove this app - such a beautiful, functional interface. I've moved from my longtime RSS reader Liferea. As long as this app remains stable, and actively worked on, I'm here to stay. Thanks!
- Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 13452466, 6 anni faGreat RSS reader. The only think I really miss is feed synchronization (via FF sync, or something like this).

- Valutata 4 su 5di Micha, 7 anni faI am currently evaluating feedbro (FireFox) as replacement for liveclick which unfortunately is not compatible with FF57.
There are some Questions I have and some Features that I would like to see:
1) The popup list always contains only 10 entries.
Is this configurable? I have seen no setting.
It could be a nice feature to have a scrolling popup list with more entries.
At least the 10 entries should be automatically filled up to 10 again when deleting an entry.
Actually, you have to leave the popup and open it again to see 10 entries again.
2) Could all entries of the the popup list be deleted (via shortcut or context menu)?
Actually, only single entries can be deleted.
3) It would be nice to show all (as it is now), but also only a single feed in the popup list.
4) The Feedback link directs to the chrome page, not to the firefox addons page.
It would be great if you could consider some of these features for implementation. - Valutata 4 su 5di Lecron, 7 anni faGood. Very good. But not perfect.
All subscriptions are different. Need more individual settings (display mode, show only unread, etc) for each. Or save last view mode individual. - Valutata 4 su 5di Finn, 7 anni faOnly thing i i miss is a mobile version off the extention. that would sync via ff sync or something. so it would be easy accessable on moible also. since we arnt always on the desktop.
