As speed dials go, this strikes a fair balance between features and bloat -- though a few more customization options to the look-and-feel would not go amiss.

That said, "fast" is isn't. Frequently it can take several seconds to load into a new tab (5-12) while others it is of an acceptable speed. As this should simply load small, internally saved files for the dial faces, this pause is hard to explain as no other speed-dial variant I've tested has had it.

Hello,

I can almost guarantee you there is something wrong with your Firefox :). Or maybe just some strange incompatibility with some of the other add-ons you use if you are still running Firefox 56 (next Firefox version 57 should fix this).

Anyway, New tab page must be loaded way below one second on every PC. I'm focusing on speed in all of my add-ons so this is just impossible :)

What should help you is "Reset Firefox" feature:
