- Valutata 1 su 5di XavRab, un anno faI’ve had this extension activated for long without problem (and without noticing, also). But these last days, I’ve had the same systematic problem already reported in other reviews : it automatically scroll any googlesheets to the far bottom right, making it fully unusable.
- Valutata 1 su 5di c kimpton, un anno fathis extension installed itself without me noticing and broke my ability to scroll on several websites. after disabling I don't even notice a difference in smoothness
- Valutata 1 su 5di LD, un anno faAlways scroll down and right in Google Table. I spent a lot of time and lost all my settings until I discovered the problem.
- Valutata 1 su 5di bogdand, 2 anni faI can't scroll on modal window. Instead of scrolling, it shakes up and down.

- Valutata 1 su 5di Corsaro1200, 4 anni faLogitech Smooth Scrolling extension spoils website weather service ( https://earth.nullschool.net ) functionality.
(Broke zooming - scroll wheel) - Valutata 1 su 5di KillerQ13, 4 anni faBreaks JavaScript wheel events to the point of going too much in one direction and barely at all in the other...or even the same direction (only goes up).
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 15374273, 4 anni fahas NO effect.... and requires access to ALL your computer history and activity per the permissions Access your data for all websites
- Valutata 1 su 5di Aimhere, 5 anni faDoesn't really have much effect on scrolling. Modern web browsers already SMOOTHLY scroll between those three-line increments, not "choppy" at all as Logitech claims.
What this extension DOES do is mess with the scroll wheel functionality on many websites. For example, on a weather site, the wheel can't be used to zoom in or out on the weather map while this extension is active.
Uninstalled. - Valutata 1 su 5di Aro, 5 anni faLogitech recommends to install just after mouse installation. Unfortunately it messes up with scroll events so it causes problems on pages relying on them (e.g. Adobe Cloud web apps). Also I don't see any difference with or without add-on so no point in installing it.

- Valutata 1 su 5di BWX, 5 anni faThe only thing it does is add a nasty delay.. and does not smooth anything any more than without it.
- Valutata 1 su 5di treesap, 5 anni faIt's not for me. Effectively kills usability in exchange for aesthetics.
In essence, this extension just makes scrolls "slower." Rather than the page immediately moving to where the mouse wheel directs it, it moves there more slowly and, indeed, smoothly. It has a degree of reverse-acceleration, i.e. The first 80% of the scrolled section goes by quickly, while the last 20% moves slowly. This has the effect of making it difficult to immediately see where the page has been scrolled to, thus one cannot get the instant feedback necessary to determine whether more scrolling is necessary in order to view the part of the page desired.
Scrolling is designed to enhance usability. This extension sacrifices usability in exchange for making the action more visually pleasing.
(Side note: I fail to see why one needs to have the SetPoint software installed (and thus use a Logitech mouse) in order to use this extension. This extension is overall just marketing wank--simply another bulletpoint to add to the "features" section when selling the hardware. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 15179354, 6 anni faI do not understand why such obtrusive permissions are required.
