I followed the procedure recommended in the recent report here in the reviews, I installed the firefoxpwa-2.12.1-x86_64 version because I couldn't find the native installer that was mentioned on github, but it still didn't work.
I believe this happened after this last update of Firefox (131.0 (64-bits)).

pubblicato il 3 mesi faYes, it's related to Firefox 131 and has only been fixed in PWAsForFirefox 2.12.5.
I can't link it directly because URLs are not allowed here, but if you go to the GitHub repository, you should see PWAsForFirefox 2.12.5 on the right side under the releases section. Then, open the release and you should be able to download firefoxpwa-2.12.5-x86_64.msi under the assets section. - Valutata 5 su 5di Phillip Simons, 3 mesi fa
- Valutata 1 su 5di Guerrini, 3 mesi faDidn't work. I only get blank windows for all apps I installed. (Win11).
Update- Even after downloading the "firefoxpwa-2.12.5-x86_64.msi" I couldn't get it to work. I tried removing the extention and fresh installing, but no luck.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 3 mesi faPlease download the native program v2.12.5 from GitHub releases in the repository (specifically,
firefoxpwa-2.12.5-x86_64.msi).
Update: If you still have problems after updating to 2.12.5, make sure that the native version mentioned in the extension settings (About the project) is also 2.12.5. If it's not, uninstall the native program from the system settings and try again. You can also try to run "Patch profiles and runtime" from the extension settings. - Valutata 5 su 5di Tim, 3 mesi fa

- Valutata 4 su 5di xalente, 4 mesi faGreat extension. Though, weird issue happens to me when I pin them to the taskbar (Windows 11), it reverts to the Firefox icon. Also, it would be great in the future if we could add the web apps to the Windows Start Menu.
Edit to answer the reply: Yes, the behavior (reverting to the Firefox icon when pinned to the taskbar) happens with all the web apps (I created 10).Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 4 mesi faDoes it happen with all PWAs or just specific ones? If it's just some, it might be because they're using SVG icons, which aren't fully supported currently. That will be fixed in the future. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 14789689, 4 mesi faI was so very disappointed that I couldn't turn my favorite web based email program, which doesnt offer a desktop app, into a web app the way you can in MS Edge. After installing a couple of necessary support pieces .. this works like a CHARM! My Web based email now works as well as any desktop application.
- Valutata 5 su 5di DK, 4 mesi faIncredible. Shame on firefox for removing this feature. It sucks to have to run it as another service, but if it's the only way for this to work, then I'll continue using it. BIG THANK YOU to the developer. You're doing amazing work.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18562428, 4 mesi faHasn't worked in a long time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, completely resetting, still constant issues that makes it not worth it. I still don't understand why this is even needed. All I want is the exact same functionality that used to exist and doesn't no reasons like reasons. All I want is the Google Messages icon pinned to my taskbar so I can text from my computer without finding the tab it's on. This should not be that difficult.
- Valutata 2 su 5di Daniele, 4 mesi faI installed the PWA but even if I install the deb package (OS Ubuntu 24.04 Firefox flatpak version) I cannot select the runtime installation

pubblicato il 4 mesi faFlatpak is not supported because it doesn't provide the necessary APIs yet. You can read more details here: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq/#why-doesnt-the-extension-find-the-native-connector-on-linux
You will need to use normal Firefox (from Mozilla website or their DEB repository) instead. - Valutata 5 su 5di slucas, 4 mesi fa

- Valutata 3 su 5di Barra Darcy, 6 mesi faGreat idea for an extension but every webapp opens in a new instance/window of FF and needs to be signed into even if you're signed in already on the main browser. This has huge potential and I'd love if someone fixed this:)
