If you are noticing that a specific site doesn't work with the "IE 11" button, could you share a link? You can send it by email jscher2000@outlook.com or create an issue at https://github.com/jscher2000/Save-webP-as-extension/issues. Thanks. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 16433046, 2 anni fa

pubblicato il 2 anni faHi Peter, you can contact me for support through the Issues page at https://github.com/jscher2000/Save-webP-as-extension/issues or by email at jscher2000@outlook.com. Hopefully we can get it working again. - Valutata 2 su 5di bleedingpopcorn76, 2 anni fait works great but its way too confusing to configure. either the settings don't seem to behave the way they're supposed to or i just don't understand what they say, i really don't know. i just click stuff until it stays the way i want it and even then it kinda breaks downloading images in webp automatically for no reason if i refresh the link. so far the worst front end i've come across in 20 years of messing around with comptuers.

Also, when the "Yes" option is selected in the "Save Dialog / Autosave Options" setting, it would be nice if the save dialog box remembered the file path for the next use.
Thanks.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 2 anni faThank you for your feedback. For animated webP, the "IE11" button works the best for saving in an animated GIF format, assuming the server offers one, but isn't perfect. For WebM, I could try linking to an online conversion service but I'm not aware of one.
The Save As dialog takes advantage of Firefox's built-in behavior to remember your last used folder per website. I actually don't know whether I can override that in the add-on; I'll need to look into it. - Valutata 5 su 5di Gordon, 2 anni faExcellent add-on, thanks! I set the option to show the Save As dialogue each time and to save "Directly in my downloads folder", and for me it seems to remember the last save location so I don't have to go hunting for it each time. YMMV.
I haven't gotten the IE11 button to work yet, I still keep getting a .avif. But I may be misunderstanding something about that. Regardless, this thing is still great. Highly recommend if you are annoyed with getting .avif or .webp files when saving images. - Valutata 5 su 5di PPlank, 2 anni faThis is a great little plugin that I use almost every day for downloading memes in jpg format. The only thing I'd like it to also be able to do is to save to a different location other than the default so I have to navigate to the network folder I like to save images to, but I get if this isn't possible due to addon limitations and I guess I'll just live with it. Maybe I'll look for a bit of software that monitors that location and auto-moves anything that appears there. :-)

As you can see I was planning to let you pick any folder under Downloads (add-ons can't auto-save outside of your default "Save files to:" folder) but haven't finished that yet. https://addons.mozilla.org/user-media/previews/full/265/265268.png - Valutata 5 su 5di shrl, 2 anni fa

pubblicato il 2 anni faSorry to hear about that. This add-on doesn't have a feature to delete saved images, but the images are handled as downloads and Firefox itself has a feature to delete downloaded files. The way that works is to right-click an item on the download history list and click Delete -- if multiple downloads are selected, all of the files for the selected items will be deleted. If the files weren't deleted through that feature, perhaps they are in the Windows Recycle Bin (if you run windows) or your system's equivalent. If not, you could try "unerase" software like https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva - Valutata 1 su 5di Demez, 2 anni fa

**Update** I noticed this can happen in a framed page. Try using either right-click > Open Image in New Tab (use the stand-alone image viewer), or right-click > This Frame > Open Frame in New Tab to work around this issue for now. Hopefully I can figure out the issue.
