- Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 17966179, 8 mesi faIt would be interesting to be able to specify a time, such as "1 hour", "24 hours", or "1 week" recently.
Especially the most recent "1 hour" and "24 hours" would be nice. - Valutata 5 su 5di 小崔老师, 2 anni fa

pubblicato il 3 anni faThank you for your review. Currently, the add-on always displays the freshly requested list without editing out any items. I don't think there is a way to exactly emulate what Firefox does when you delete a suggestion from the address bar drop-down. Instead, the extension could either (A) build its own list of unwanted items to hide on the extension drop-down or (B) delete the history for that site (requires additional permissions). - Valutata 4 su 5di Ibissa, 3 anni faHello
Thanks for this great Add-On! I have been using it for the last 2 months and its a great replacement for the basic FF functionlity. However, for the last 2 weeks its been behaving very weirdly. 2 things are happening alternatively:
1. When I click on a link from drop-down, it opens the page in the same tab AND it opens a new tab with the same link.
2.When I click on a link from drop-down, it opens the page in the same tab AND it opens a new page with the same link.
I'm using FF 94.0.1 on Mac. Any help resolving this is much appreciated :)
EDIT: Thank you for your assistance. There's no way to respond to your response but I indeed had it on. I turned it off now and will monitor it. I think you are right, this behavior started happening after I turned it on. One final Q - the list is not sorted based on the most FREQUENT on top. Is there a way to sort it?Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 3 anni fa[EDITED] In the add-on's options (gear button), if you are using "Entire row is a real link" at the end of the first group, try turning it off. It seems to double-open if that is enabled.
[UPDATE] In version 1.4, I fixed the double-opening problem with that setting, but I can't get the page to open in the same tab in Firefox 94, only in a new tab. Hope to figure that out later.

I am showing the sites in the order Firefox gives me, and I don't have enough information to re-sort it. (I get title, url, and icon as described on this page: https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/topSites/MostVisitedURL ) - Valutata 5 su 5di Igor, 3 anni faA good addon. Is it possible to change the color of links from blue to another in addition to the font color of the site name and background?

pubblicato il 3 anni faHi, thank you for this suggestion. I will look into adding that.
[Edit on Nov. 10, 2021] I added link color to the Advanced Color Tweaking option in version 1.4. - Valutata 5 su 5di glorp, 3 anni fa

pubblicato il 4 anni faHi, if you do not want your Firefox to show the Top Sites list from the new tab page in the address bar drop-down, there is a checkbox to turn that off:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/address-bar-autocomplete-firefox#w_how-can-i-control-what-results-the-address-bar-shows-me- Valutata 5 su 5di Jordan Mendler, 4 anni faJust what I needed.Would be nice though if they included time spent on each site per day
- Valutata 5 su 5di Lekgolo, 4 anni faAwesome addon, I'll never understand why devs remove features instead of leaving them as an option.
Some suggestions: it would be nice to have an option to remove bookmarked sites from the list! To access those I already can click on my bookmarks.
Also, 800x600 is too small on high res screens, in my case 800 pixels is only about a third of my address bar, would love to see those limits increased!Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 4 anni faThank you for the suggestions.
I can look into removing bookmarked sites, but this will require an extra permission to read your bookmarks, so I would make it optional (similar to how switch-to-tab is optional). Perhaps a more general feature to hide sites from the drop-down could be implemented faster (and if you have a lot of bookmarks, would perform better).
Regarding the size of the drop-down panel, there's nothing an extension author can do to increase beyond 800x600. One alternative would be to add an option to open the list a separate popup window. I'll have to look into whether that would perform well. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 16371614, 4 anni faBrilliant!!
Thank you. I had actually stopped using Firefox over the removal of the frequent history drop-down from the URL window. I actually registered just to give you five stars and a review!!
FF are the perfect example as to why developers don't decide what changes are to be implemented on IT platforms in private business. What harm was that feature doing? None. So why was it removed? Makes no sense.
Once again many thanks and I hope that more users discover this extension. Its a shame that its not publicized because it took me a lot of searching to find the correct search term that led to this extension. - Valutata 5 su 5di Dan Wahlers, 4 anni faI despise Firefox for taking away the "Show History" triangle. There was no reason for it. If it's not broke, don't fix it, as they say. This extension is the next best thing and it works perfectly to accomplish basically the same function. Thank you!!
- Valutata 5 su 5di Tim, 4 anni faA great addon for something which should have been default functionality. Thanks!

it is so stupid what the developers are doing...
to remove such helpful things just without any reason, which i have been using daily for about 20 years
You're my hero ;) - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 13320911, 4 anni faThank you so much! You saved my day. I really hate firefox team, when they make such critical changes in dead silence.
Could I change colours, especially the ones of the dark theme? Editing files or about:config is totally okay, but I'm not sure I could handle editing xpi.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 4 anni faThank you for the suggestion. Version 1.3 has an option for tweaking the theme colors (text color and background color) on the Options page. To roll this out quickly, I didn't create a "color picker." Instead, you need to use a format the extension can insert directly into a style rule. This MDN article describes the possible formats: https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Web/CSS/color_value This site may help you figure out the hex codes for colors you want to use: http://www.visibone.com/colorlab/ - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 9847730, 4 anni faВсё хорошо. Хотелось бы только ширину побольше чем 750 :) И в настройках у меня почему-то шрифт огромный и толстый..

For the drop-down width, there's no way for the extension to make it wider than 800 pixels total including the scrollbar. Maybe I should make the scrollbar optional.
In Firefox 78.0.1, the Options page seems to use Tahoma (at least on Windows), which is a wide font. It doesn't seem much wider than Arial, although it has a slightly different shape. Not sure of the best choice. - Valutata 5 su 5di Devin, 4 anni faPeople like you are the reason we _CAN_ have nice things! Thank you so much for bringing this simple feature back.
Now for the inevitable rant: I don't understand why FF goes out of it's way to irritate what few users left. People who want a dumbed down browser are already using Chrome or Edge or Safari. If FF wants to follow suit, can't they at least give us an option to toggle the feature? W/o this addon, every time I miss the feature will only harbor ill-will toward FF.
Lately FF feels like a decent looking woman in her 30s not being sure of her dating prospects. The hot men are looking elsewhere and the few that _are_ interested in her must conform to her weird standards. - Valutata 5 su 5di embajador1, 4 anni fa
