Slow compared to others. It does have many options, though. The deal-breaker was the lack of ability to change the scroll wheel's effect.

as previous firegestures user the gestures are very compatible by default (unlike some other popular extensions)
it does make me wonder though if author can provide more explanations for the requested permissions or even better could reduce it to minimum

The note says: Mouse navigation doesn't work on Firefox's built-in pages because of Mozilla's security restrictions.
But is there a way to make it work on them?

One of BEST productivity extensions -- it does mouse gestures, drag & drop and multi select link opener all in one beautiful extension !!!

Couple of issues:

- There should be a timeout value when the gesture gets cancelled, for e.g., 1 second or so

FYI: It conflicts with "Absolute Right click and copy" extension. If that is enabled, then mouse gestures won't work and appears to break some websites. Make sure to disable Right click and copy extension in order for the Simple Mouse Gestures extension to work properly.

Great functionality but it requires so many permissions without any explanation why the add-on need those - that disqualifies it for me.

A lot of permissions are required. For instance, why do you need access to my browsing history, downloads, themes, extension usages, bookmark modification? These are non of your business.

The permissions are out of this world for just mouse gestures. What are you going to do with my browsing history or bookmarks? Intrusive much?! I'd rather pass on this.
