- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 12570732, 7 anni falost all my previous styles. found it very confusing to try and recover. tried installing new styles installed 2 only 1 showed on installed styles never showed up on my home page then the #1 disappeared off the stylish icon on bar. didn't appreciate not being given the option of installing this on my own. should this practice continue will be switching to google chrome for my browser. have returned to older version of stylish. new version is totally useless to me.

pubblicato il 7 anni faNote that if you updated to the previous version of Stylish (v2.1.1) which was released nearly two weeks ago, all your previous styles are saved, and you can easily access ALL of them (installed, edited and/or created). Just click on the “About this version” link at the top of the extension window. There you will be able to copy the CSS of any style that you had, and easily migrate it to the new version of Stylish. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that after you migrate your styles you will enjoy the new version much more than the previous version. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 13429892, 7 anni faLike most of the other users i also lost all of my styles.
I could recover the old styles. The are stored in the file stylish.sqlite located in the used profile folder. I suppose Stylish is using this file on Windows too.
After copying the file stylish.sqlite to another folder - this prevents overwriting by Stylish and really loosing all styles - you can use DB Browser for SQLite (http://sqlitebrowser.org/) to read the file. Using Debian or Ubuntu you can install the package sqlitebrowser.
Open the file stylish.sqlite and recover the code of the styles:
1. start DB Browser for SQLite
2. open the file stylish.sqlite
3. click at the tab "Browse Data"
4. select the table "styles"
5. click the a cell in the column "code"
6. copy the code shown in the windows at the right top

Just remember to set Automatic Updates for Stylish to "Off' within the FF Addons page.

Switching to Stylus. https://add0n.com/stylus.html

used to work perfectly fine and used it for many sites. now after this update:
it deleted ALL my styles,
WONT let me re download them because all the install buttons for styles redirect to here!! HAPPY NOW WITH YOUR 1 STAR?!
pressing the mini button in the menu bar only creates a white arrow underneath with nothing else.
even the options button in addons only brings up an unnamed empty tab!
CONSTANTLY tells me to install it, yet i have it on my menu bar.
THANKS A LOT!!Replica dello sviluppatore

Please fix it

EDIT: PEOPLE, REVERT TO VERSION 2.1.1 THEN EXPORT YOUR FILES TO STYLUS. MUCH BETTER.
I feel grateful with the devs right now, thanks to this garbage update I'm heading into a better direction.Replica dello sviluppatore

- Valutata 1 su 5di neophil78, 7 anni faJust a scheme that, with all the criticism you got, you've not reverted back (or forward but ...) with no MAIN trouble as everyone is pointing on !!!!
- Valutata 1 su 5di Thomas Christmas, 7 anni faDelete button is next to edit button with no confirmation!
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 13429546, 7 anni faIt's a pity that you decided to make such big changes without letting us decide if we want to write our own styles and keep the ones we already had, or if we prefer to pick one of the new ones. You totally changed how the extension works, therefore that's not an update, you should instead create a new extension when you make such big changes.
You just deleted all my styles without asking me first if I wanted to save them.
Shame on you, I'm uninstalling as many others.
PS: Newer versions of Firefox are not compatible with older versions of Stylish. Goodbye, Stylish. It was nice and everything but that's all.Replica dello sviluppatore

It lost all my styles. The interface is hard to understand.
Get back the old interface!Replica dello sviluppatore

As a workaround I have to use the userChrome.css file which is a annoying for multiple styles. (And the new design takes to much space.)
- Valutata 1 su 5di Admin, 7 anni faUnfortunately it does not work I've increased my craziness to Firefox
- Valutata 3 su 5di David McRitchie, 7 anni faThe complaint is not really about Stylish, it is about Firefox, but Stylish is no good to me beyond FF 56.0.2 because all of the styles I use are not themes, and only themes can be done in Stylish now because Firefox is crap beginning with FF 57. If Firefox is going to look like Chrome, act like Chrome, use Chrome as a goal-- you might as well not be using Firefox.
I have put Stylish back to pre version 3.0, and Firefox, extensions including Stylish styles are no longer allowed to update themselves. I guess in 3 months I will switch to Chrome I've had to use it all too many times up to now. Stylish and extension were what kept Firefox usable and enjoyable (FF not so enjoyable starting around 3.0 when they started to lose sight of their users).
I wish I could tell you to look at the styles I wrote and the others I also use but the pictures are incomplete not showing before and after and are distorted and cropped.
* As I understand it Firefox 57 will not allow or will only allow for a while changes to Firefox structure interface, no more changes to toolbars, scrollers, scroll thumbs to make them visible, unhiding hidden or self hiding scroll bars, eliminating wasted space on toolbars making them more readable in 1/4 the space. Almost every extension that I have left is marked legacy and has to do with toolbars. Loss of bookmark functionality. The only extensions that will remain appear to be Adblock Plus and Stylish themes.

* If Firefox is is just going to remove features not available in other browsers and play catch-up to Chrome, as if that is desirable, then why continue to use Firefox at all. Dumbing down Firefox to Google Chrome's level is going to eliminate the remaining Firefox users who have persevered through all of Mozilla's shenanigans.
* If you try to read up about an extension now they've f*ck*d that up as well. Most important items: version, size, releases it works with, stars, description, developer's comments, user comments & developer comments related to a user comment. - Valutata 1 su 5di AbsoluteDark, 7 anni faNew update is trash. Has an ugly icon now. Doesn't allow for modifying the UI (xul) so no real point of using either.
- Valutata 1 su 5di smz, 7 anni faHow to ditch a fantastic add-on... 3.0.1 screwed up (again) my styles!
Did you guys took into consideration that there are people still using Firefox 52.4.0 ESR?
PLEASE DO SOMETHING!
spero che fixate questi bug - Valutata 1 su 5di ananda96, 7 anni fa3.0.1 Addon is broken, Styles disappeared after update today.
button does not work, will lead to nonexisting help site or similar, failes...
something with database wrong.
perfect how to destroy a working addon.
switched back to old 2.1.1
does anybody test this before release? - Valutata 3 su 5di akater, 7 anni fa
