UPDATE: I see, thanks for explaining! I'm not sure if you'll get a notification for this reply, but oh well.

For the popup being annoying there are options to make it appear only when you click a key combination, or move it away from the cursor, for example. The options page has many of these. :)

As for the context menu being a sub menu, unfortunately that's, as far as I know, a WebExtensions limitation that I can't do anything about :( (Unless there's a single search engine!) See this for more details: https://github.com/CanisLupus/swift-selection-search/issues/129

    highly customisable to my liking. requires bit of googleing to figure out what the actual search string for a website is.

    but it took me 10 minutes or so and now i have it compact as i wish, and with 2 custom search engines i prefer.

    Дополнение просто супер. Экономит кучу времени и действий. Можно добавить много чего, искать на маркете, на озоне или вб, в яндекс или гугл картинках, копировать выделенное в буфер обмена. Очень рад что когда-то установил это дополнение.

    It would be good if the search engine could be chosen according to the user's preference. In my case, I like to do searches in Perplexity. The situation would be the following. first select a text, second modify or add more information for your query and third just press enter to open the search engine which in my case is perplexity, it would also be good if the text prompt was not reduced when eliminating search engines
