However, I've come to the point where sessions sync is the must have. This is why I have to change your great extension, despite that I like its UI and much more than the others.
Farewell and good luck! :)
Below is my original review 9 months earlier:
I am glad for the effort to bring Session Manager to WebExtensions. Still, in some cases I am using one instance of FF ESR with original Session Manager by Michael Kraft for its superior functions:
- auto saving sessions
- saving either whole session or just a particular window (what's even more useful for me).
It would be great to see the above in Tab Session Manager.
I also hope to find a top notch cooperation with Multi Account Containers, like auto saving window with a particular container tabs, so I can always start or exit my Personal, Work or other Container window and have my session saved. - Valutata 2 su 5di Da-Mir //~_~\\, 7 anni fa

First, after I close FF, when I reopen it the tabs load in reverse order. Can I assume its because the tabs open next to the current tab, but each time a new tab is opened it is inserted closest to the current tab, as opposed to the end of the queue of related tabs if that makes sense. Im sure theres a more technical way to say that, but thats the best Ive got.
Let say I have 50 tabs open. Im looking at tab 20, I click a link to open a new tab, that new tab is tab 21 pushign the old 21 to position 22. Still from tab 20 I click another link to open another tab and becomes the new tab 21, and the previous 21 is now 22, and 22 becomes 23.
To solve the reverse order issue, I need to open FF, reclose FF, then reopen it.
Secondly, I also note that the first tab of a previous session is always still in Tab 1 slot as it should be... and the tab I was focused on when I closed the session, even if say Tab 40, is now Tab 2 upon session restore, the rest are in reverse order.
I also note with another addon that modifies a limited functionality inbuilt FF Quantum feature, the inbuilt feature operates first, then the more customisable addon changes it, as opposed to simply replacing he inbuilt feature. Is that part of the reason for reverse order loading of tabs maybe? Is there an about: config setting I need to tweak?
But awesome work so far, once I found this and a decent speed dial approximation, I updated to Quantum. Until then I was holding out. - Valutata 4 su 5di Needle, 7 anni fa

Is it great that restoring the session that was closed the last works great with this add on. However is it possible to restore the session automatically from the last closed or autosave (whichever is latest) state when firefox is started when there was no firefox tab-window left (browser window only, ignoring the download, histrory, bookmark window or even the firefox program running in the background as the case with mac). This will make closing and restarting firefox window in mac so smooth, you may make this feature optional in the setting.
FRQ:
1. Restore last closed state or or autosaved state which ever is latest, when firefox window opens when there is no existing firefox browser window. (this makes it more intuitive to close firefox in mac using the red button and restarting).
2. Retina compatible high resolution logo of the add on, and may be a change of color of logo.
3. Relative time in the session list, such as 15 minutes ago, 1hr ago in addition to the existing timestamp.
Keep up the great work,

Sure, it still has some bugs and missing features but it is quite usable. If you have problems losing sessions try the Export menu item to make manual backups.
To all those who complain about this extension not being as full-featured and reliable as the old Session Manager, remember that sienori started from scratch with a Web extension API that was so unfriendly to session management that none of the old extensions were ported. I think he has achieved a lot and encourage him to continue improving Tab Session Manager. Thanks. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 13900871, 7 anni faThis add-on works perfectly for me. I use it every day. Thank you VERY much for adding the "save position" functionality. I missed this feature a lot. But now everything is just perfect.
