- Valutata 2 su 5di Shoes4Clues, un mese faWhile the interface is great, the main reason I got this was to save memory. I'm not sure if this is a Firefox issue or an issue with the extension itself, but the tabs that are stashed still take up memory.

pubblicato il un mese faTab Stash will indeed save you memory, as it will automatically unload stashed tabs that haven't been used in a while. If you'd prefer that stashed tabs are closed completely when they are stashed, this can be changed in Tab Stash's options. Hope this helps! - Valutata 5 su 5di xia, un mese fa

pubblicato il un mese faYes...? That is indeed the point of Tab Stash. I have to admit I don't understand your review at all, but if you're having trouble, feel free to open an issue on GitHub and I'd be happy to help! - Valutata 5 su 5di Raygan Kelly, 2 mesi faThis is a really clever and useful extension that combines tab management with bookmarks in a way that just makes sense. Huge thanks to the developer for creating and maintaining it!

pubblicato il un mese faYou're quite welcome, and thanks for the review, I'm glad to hear you like it! - Valutata 2 su 5di Faith, 2 mesi faI have tried multiple times to use this add-on because the promise of it is great. However, most recently, I just lost all my tabs to it by stashing them all, then searching for all the redundant tabs I had open of my email, and closing them. This turned out to delete all my tabs, not just the email, irrecoverably. If anyone knows a good tab manager which closes tabs and saves them and lets me delete whole groups of tabs without deleting everything, I would be very interested.
Also, you should keep in mind that the tabs here are not closed but simply hidden.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il un mese faSorry to hear that! It's possible this is an issue with your email provider and not Tab Stash. Like most other tab-saving add-ons, Tab Stash saves tabs by remembering their URLs. What you're describing might happen if your email provider doesn't assign unique URLs to each email.
One way to test this is to open a specific email message, bookmark the page, and close the tab. Then use the bookmark to open your email again. If your email provider doesn't show that same email message, then it's unlikely to work with Tab Stash or any other tab-saving add-on, I'm afraid.
If, however, you DO get back to the same email message, then it's a problem with Tab Stash and I'd love to get a bug report on GitHub, so I can troubleshoot with you further. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 17462675, 2 mesi fa

pubblicato il 2 mesi faThanks, I'm glad you like it! If you do press the wrong button by mistake, you can always get your group back from deleted items. So don't worry too much if you make a mistake, it's easily fixable. :) - Valutata 5 su 5di Kiwi18, 2 mesi fa
- Valutata 3 su 5di voskresenie, 3 mesi faIt seems as though I'm having an issue most others are not encountering, so I hesitate to give a poor rating, but after installing this add-on, I noticed my browser slowed down considerably. Extremely sluggish and frustrating, to the point of being unusable. I verified that this is due to the add-on by using Firefox's Process Manager. The 'Extensions' process hovers at 1-5% CPU usage when I have this extension disabled. When I enable it, it rises to between 50% and 100% CPU usage, and stays that way even 10 minutes after enabling it (which I did to ensure it wasn't just a start-up cost). It drops again within seconds of disabling the extension. I do have a large number of windows open, which may be part of the issue, and my goal was to reduce that number using this extension. However, I could barely get a single tab stashed in 10 minutes, so unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to use this to get to that point. I hope the developer is able to identify the source of the high CPU usage I've experienced, as it otherwise seems to be a very good extension. Will check back in a few months and try again.

every use case I could think of with this plugin over traditional bookmarking is just more fluid and quicker:
selecting bookmarks to move is based on checkboxes rather than mouseclicks plus control/shift key.
moving bookmarks to a folder is as simple as clicking a button hovering near desired folder rather than needing to drag and drop, risking a misclick mistake.
If I stopped to open up a bookmark I don't recognize to check it out none of the checkboxes already selected disappear,
this addon also integrates into the old bookmark system rather than replacing it so import/backup and sync works perfectly fine and directly modifying the bookmark folder itself doesn't result in any detrimental effects from what I've observed.
After this addon had already impressed me, I thought to myself that the text of the folders/bookmarks seemed small and experimentally tried a classic ctrl+mousewheel and found that the madman had considered what I thought to be an edgecase was considered and supported.
Best addon I've ever seen after uBlock, very well thought out and executed refinement of bookmarking. so good that this should, in my opinion, be incorporated into official firefox browser releases.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 3 mesi faHigh praise indeed, thank you so much for sharing! I'm really happy to hear that a lot of the small touches have made things smoother and easier for you.
And you're right about modifying the bookmark folder itself—not only should there be no detrimental effects, it is fully-supported to move bookmarks around however you please using the tool of your choice. (Extensions that auto-move bookmarks do sometimes cause problems, but this is the exception, not the rule.) - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 13583898, 3 mesi fa

I get seamless syncing, just like TabSessionManager, but without needing a Google account or reconfiguring every new device.
And all my tabs are saved as bookmarks, so I never have to worry about losing them and can use Firefox Sync to access them anywhere?
Where has this extension been all my life? I swear, I wish I’d found it sooner!Replica dello sviluppatore
