I'm using the add on solely in tablet mode when the touch pad gestures are not accesibble to navigate forth and back.
To counter issues with interfering with pinch to zoom, just set the add-on to react on a single finger only :)

Works lovely

Nearly impossible to use it for even the simplest gestures like back page and forward page (swipe right and swipe left). The display jerks with the gestures and it is impossible to get the gestures to not zoom into the page at the same time. You lose your orientation.

A good app, but it's not as responsive as it should be. For now it's the best app out there for 2-in-1 laptop/tablet for Web browsers like Firefox

Generally works well, tried to recreate Chromes Touchscreen gestures for previous/next page with a single finger horizontal swipe. Unfortunately there is no visual feedback whatsoever when the gesture has worked which is unfortunate since the gestures don't work on some websites or are not executed precisely enough. Some visual feedback would be awesome.

Very nice, using this daily on a Surface Pro.

It is a bit sensitive when it comes to parallel moving of the fingers though. I.e. even with two fingers held together, I'm still getting 'Fingers not parallel' on the demo page with the slightest rotation of my hand, wich apparently is a natural thing for me to do. I assume you have a threshold somewhere in the detection, would be nice if this could be adjusted in the options.

hi! using on my Android smartphone (KeyOne) and very happy about it.
one small bug: "Open New Tab" opens an empty "about:blank" tab instead of a normal new tab dialogue with frequent sites, history, etc.

I was looking for something to swipe back/forward on a page using Windows 10 on Surface Pro 4 and this plugin dies that. You can configure the plugin to only use one finger if two is tricky to use.

Bad, just bad.

Don't work on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4, FF58.02... like Edge... or tablet-browsers.
No Video how it would work... any used settings doesn't change anything. A help-function for different settings or systems could help lazy users like me, to fix it fast....

When you first install this addon be sure to try it on a site other than Mozilla Addons (I couldn't get it to work until I switched to a different tab / website).

Great add-on and hopefully something Firefox will add to a touch-friendly update soon :D

For any reviewers that are giving this extension one star because it doesn't work, if you're on Linux be aware that FF's ability to sense multi-touch input in Linux is non-existent, hence not this addons fault. Extension works in Windows and I had managed to get used to it, though, honestly it was a bit of a pain in the behind to get it to recognize the gestures. The dev was considerate enough to provide a little app to practice your gestures on. I'd really recommend you use it. My best piece of advice for that is to keep your two fingers together when doing a gesture as it requires a perfect parallel movement. I would also try to keep it simple. Don't bother mapping 8 macros for the eight directions the addon gives as it it's either not really good at recognizing the diagonals or I'm not precise enough for it. Map for two things only (let's say go back, go forward) and map one side for first macro and the other for the other macro. It starts working very consistently at that point.

All in all, it's a really good plugin and I was sad to see it go when I migrated to Linux, but it's also a little rough around the edges and can use a bit of improvement in it's ability to detect gestures (perhaps make the two finger detection algorithm less strict on how parallel the line traced by the two fingers has to be). Dev. If you feel like it and are able to, it would be really cool to have single finger gesture support by having the addon detect motions on the edges of the browser window.

This allows me to go back a page which is what I wanted. The gesture is a bit awkward (trying to keep fingers parallel). It often seems to register as a zoom rather than a swipe.
