Finally a link extension by a clever person. Handle so many situations well (when too much is selected, with multiple links as well, double click will still correctly open 1st valid link; double click will work even when active URL link with hidden redirect bs link is presented by pointing mouse just before the link; etc). It also acts like multiple links parser. Perfect.
The only downside is it _often_ forgets about the renewed content on the page, and disappears from right click menu or offers old links that are no longer on the page. That's something to look at.

    This add-on caused Google and other sites to stop responding for long periods of time.
    For example, when performing a search, it would take about 10 seconds to respond.
    I also had to wait several seconds when posting to social media.
    I don't know the details, but disabling this add-on solved the problem.

    Text Link works, but can hang some websites. E.g., editing an issue on GitHub with a handful of links of various types resulted in the extension using 100% of my CPU per `about:performance`. The only solution was to disable the extension then kill the process manually.

    Would it be possible to hide the "Finding URIs in Selection... (100%)" text in the context menu?
    When I highlight text on a webpage with media in it and right-click, the context menu always appears, grows, then shrinks because the "Finding URI's" text always appears at the bottom for a split second.
    It's quite distracting/annoying.

    Lots of false-positives is a main disadvantage.
    Clicking on "ASP.NET" to select text is impossible.
    I don't need to open asp.net URL, I just want to copy the text clicking twice and moving my mouse to select the whole sentence.
