- Valutata 1 su 5di aguazales, un anno faI have the same issue as another reviewer. The addon installs and tries to check the URL I typed in, but "Wallabag URL checked" remains at "Not checked" although "Wallabag permission checked" changes to "Agreed."
Clicking the toolbar button throws an error, "api.GetTags().then is not a function."
Wallabag itself is working fine. I'm using a self-hosted Wallabag instance - Wallabag is hosted on my NAS which is on the same LAN as the machine running Firefox and the addon. I can access the Wallabag instance from my laptop and save articles with it, but the addon stops at the "Wallabag permission checked" step like described above, unfortunately :/ - Valutata 4 su 5di don_dolarson, un anno faSo far works good, LibreWolf 116.0.2-1. Let's see how it behaves in long term. Registered, created API token, pasted everything needed in the extension and voila. Setup took less than 5 minutes. Easy peasy even for a noob.
The instruction in extension description is more than enough for setting it up using the wallabang instance. Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il un anno faAre you using a self-hosted instance or wallabag.it? Is it quicker directly through the interface?
Have a nice day.- Valutata 3 su 5di Utente Firefox 16314216, un anno faReview after developer response:
The url provided in the developer's response fixed my issue, but this addon is still far, far too complex to set up for the average user.
Previous review:
These instructions don't make any sense if you're a paid subscriber. The firefox addon asks for a url, and none is provided in the instructions. I tried https://app.wallabag.it/ (since I'm a paid subscriber) and the options page still says 'url not checked' so I can't get this thing to work.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il un anno faHi there, sorry about that. You can fill in the URL with `app.wallabag.it` then click on the test button and authorize the access of this URL. Do you have any installed extension? Can you try it on a fresh Firefox profile? - Valutata 1 su 5di AndrewKantor, 2 anni faCan't get it to work with Firefox 107. It tries to check the URL (which is correct) but "Wallabag URL checked" remains at "Not checked" although "Wallabag permission checked" changes to "Agreed."
Clicking the toolbar button throws an error, "api.GetTags().then is not a function."
Meanwhile, Wallabag itself is working fine, so I don't think the problem is there.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 2 anni faHi Andrew, I'm really sorry to ear that. Can you tell me what happen when you click on the "Test URL" button? Did you try to remove the extension and install it again? Are you using wallabag.it or a self-hosted instance?

Wallabagger has a great UI, and is very easy to use. A must have for all Wallabag users.Replica dello sviluppatore

Sorry to hear that. Are you using wallabag.it or a self hosted? Can you validate the first step with the URL?

1. the link on how to set it up takes to google-chrome, which is not the best. Within that doc the link in "First of all you have to create a new client on your wallabag installation. How to do that is described in Documentation" is not working. Anyhow, I managed to do the client.
2. While setting up the addon preferences (nice that it takes you there when error in import) I didnt know what to write in wallabag url. I assume this option is necessary for self-hosted (I have no idea), but when I tried at first the default app.wallabag.it it wasn't checking Ok. I spent all the time up and down your documentation to find the app url, assuming it was related to client; stupid me I even tested the one in your example "v2.wallabag.org", and I think that finally restarting firefox changed something in cache or whatever that captured the default url as a correct one.
3. A Youtube/vimeo video would be helpful. - Valutata 5 su 5di frost, 4 anni fa
