di James, un anno faI am a bit amused by the fact that the reviews which complain about "the plugin causes problems" mostly seem to be using sites like TikTok and Pinterest, which as far as I can tell are just as bad, or else much worse than google in terms of obnoxious tracking (nobody does as much damage as Google these days though...)
Anyways, I would advise users of the above sites, as well as any other such corporate walled gardens, to use this plugin as a coalmine canary - if it "breaks" a site, what is actually happening is, the site is trying to prevent you from twiddling back, which if you're not famliar with the term, is what this plugin is designed to do.

HOWEVER, sometimes when you open a link in a new tab (either by right clicking or being on a page that automatically opens links in new tabs) it both opens the link in a new tab AND opens it in your current tab. This is so annoying I've had to disable the extension.

I'm not sure if it's having a negative interaction with AdNauseam or TrackMeNot, or Privacy Possum, but this and those got installed in one batch, and I finally nailed down this as the cause of the issue.

However, it does cause a hiccup on some sites, like pinterest, causing the browser to run into an endless reload loop, often disabling page functionality. This affects every other tab you try to switch to, and only stops when the offending tab is closed and then the other tabs are refreshed or sent back a page, or the entire browser is restarted. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 15653875, 5 anni fa
