Disable annotations never seems to work for me. I hate anything that pops up over my videos, no matter how small it is. Please look into this. Thank you.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 giorni fahi, this volunteer project is a rare and special sacrifice of time as it has grown in amount of features and users since almost 12 years. So wishes shouldn't come with down-voting. We are not negatively motivated, but it just makes some volunteers feel misunderstood and leave. So if you care about any of these features the only good thing to do is join us on https://github.com/code-charity/YouTube.
Please consider the other options following "Hide annotations": Hide cards, Show cards on mouse hover, Hide endscreen.
Also: "This add-on..." accesses www.youtube.com. It runs fine on Android - on www.youtube.com, we are not running on m.youtube yet, which is very different.
Most people are here for specific wishes which are rarely implemented anywhere else at all. but if we implement even more of them we do first have to focus on structure of the the lists of features, so that they wont be too crowded, so that the project will be more misunderstood and fewer users might pay the effort to even scroll down the lists. - Valutata 5 su 5di NickHG, 11 giorni fa

pubblicato il 17 giorni fayay! :) let's work on something more important too, for example:
1. https://github.com/search?q=disabilities&type=repositories&s=stars&o=desc
-> https://github.com/cboard-org/cboard/issues/1677
2. https://github.com/code-charity/Bulk-Contributor and managing ImprovedTube, i think of something similar for all websites, which already is worked on my many people, yet nobody organizes/collects it: https://github.com/code-charity/crowd-fixes
https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/discussions/1881 - Valutata 5 su 5di Zerova, 22 giorni faAmazing, I do have some recommendations tho, I think it'd be nice if you could add custom images as a background (aka primary color) for the custom style, or videos that loop, and be able to change the brightness and blurriness of it :3 (edit; also, a keyboard shortcut for the scroll to top feature would be nice, and being able to change the opacity of the button would be cool too!)
{EDIT 3 (new)} Ok, I 100% didn't explain well, sorry. What I meant was for a custom image as a background, aka, if you're using youtube's dark mode, you could change the dark grey background to your own image on your pc. What I meant by video wasn't youtube videos, I meant it as the same reason for the image as a background, but instead of an image on your pc, it's a video on your pc. The darkness/blurriness was for the background image/video (what I just mentioned in this edit) since, if the image/video is bright at all, it'll look weird, and won't work well, blurriness does the same thing, but keeping it bright still. Hopefully I explained this better, idk how to program, I'm just suggesting stuff that I think is cool.
[{EDIT 2 (old)}]; (there's no way to respond to developer responses for some reason, so I'll just do this instead) I found that ctrl + up arrow is a scroll to top keybind. And, I meant the blurriness/brightness of the image specifically, not night mode/schedule. Last thing, I have no idea what you meant when you said "Loop: found it at player: buttons though? we also prepared a looper extension and can integrate this. (github link)" Maybe I'm just stupid, but I have genuinely no clue what this is supposed to mean.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 21 giorni faOhh my bad. You used comma not dot or semicolon & i knew Firefox featured us attracting new users. (While existing users or those searching something very specific used to be more likely to "nerd" about different/specific features all at once)
Check: https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/issues/2442
The shortcut/hotkeys to scroll to the top or the end are called "home" & "end" (on any keyboard.) - However that's not a bad point at all. We might make a shortcuts extension for every website too. And then first of all, we should show users a nice "cheat-sheet" of important existing but not popular ones. I learned CTRL+L very late.

Thanks! Sounds like you want to consider joining us on github. I agree in the background
image. Brightness: we also have a night mode/schedule (see top right).
Edit:
Loop: Did you find the repeat button at "player: buttons" ? ( we also prepared a looper-extension and want to integrate this. (Check the 4th items in this list: https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/issues/1445 )
Brightness of the video: Other extensions can do this but i dont see why, let alone blurriness? Similarily you can use the feature "general: Dim Youtube's Pages, except what I mouse-over!" or "player:buttons:cinema mode" - Valutata 1 su 5di Paul, 25 giorni fa

I have to open the menu again, slide the 'Fit to window' off and on to have it show again. Hope the extension author can correct this
