Как сбросить масштаб до 100%, если включен автомасштаб? - Valutata 3 su 5di Utente Firefox 13347901, 7 anni faThe new functions are fine but I miss the one hand, one click +/- and the one click % drop down menu of the old version. Find a way to restore the functionality of the old version and you get five stars.

pubblicato il 7 anni faWith the new Firefox WebExtensions API's, it is not possible for an add-on to have more than one toolbar button, which prevents separate +/- and dropdown buttons.
There are of course the Ctrl+0, Ctrl+- and Ctrl++ keyboard shortcuts. - Valutata 5 su 5di Ron, 7 anni faVery annoying reset button at history triangle in address line. When page zoomed and you trying to open history but there reset :/

Please can you provide more information. - Valutata 3 su 5di Utente Firefox 13344487, 7 anni faHi
Coming from defunct NoSquint, and as directly switching to NoSquint Plus would have been too easy and unfair I decided to give a try to Zoom Page WE. I installed and got a popup about some key that should be set to TRUE but I didn't had time enough to read & understand as non-english native speaker.
What to do ?
BTW : what does WE stands for ?
ThanksReplica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 7 anni faThe popup tells you to set the 'browser.zoom.siteSpecific' preference in Firefox's 'about:config' to either 'true' or 'false', depending on whether you are using 'Per-Site' zoom mode or 'Per-Tab' zoom mode.
'WE' stands for WebExtensions, which is the name of the new Firefox add-on API's. - Valutata 3 su 5di browzer2, 7 anni faWhat I don't like is the fact that when a new page loads, it loads the Firefox default zoom, then the page loads again with the ZOOM PAGE settings. It's disconcerting. How do I eliminate this flickering, shuddering reloading?

Which operating system are you using?
- Which version of Firefox are you using?
- Which Zoom Mode are you using?
- Which Zoom Type are you using?
- Are you using Minimum Font Size?
- Do yo have the 'Apply Autofit when page loaded or browser resized' option enabled.

pubblicato il 7 anni faZoom Page WE provides site-specfic zoom, just like the original Zoom Page.
Since version 6.0 Zoom Page WE provides fully automatic fit-to-width zoom. - Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 13340688, 7 anni faI have used the previous version of zoom page for years it was amazing. The new version is useless. No matter what you set the zoom level at you have to reset it every time you follow a link, or go backwards and forwards.
It doesn't even remember the zoom level you have picked if you visited the site earlier in the day.
If I could give it a zero star rating I wouldReplica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 7 anni faZoom Page WE has all the features of the original Zoom Page (and a few more), except for the image zoom features.
Zoom Page WE provides site-specific zoom. In the options, the 'Zoom Mode' must be set to 'Per-Site'. Also, in Firefox's 'about:config' page, the 'browser.zoom.siteSpecific' preference must be set to 'true'. - Valutata 1 su 5di DBpvr, 7 anni faorg app 5 stars this replacement is overrated with one star compared to the ease o use and a much better interface than the original addon this one mimics
- Valutata 5 su 5di Francewhoa, 7 anni faThe good
• Attractive GNU General Public License version 2. This means this add-on is owned and supported by a friendly not-for-profit community. Instead of a for-profit corporation. And more secure because its full code is publicly available for review.
• Easily and quickly set default zoom either per-site or per-tab
• Fast and responsive
• Lots of configurable options
• Add-on can be activated or deactivated without restarting Firefox
• Implemented using the new WebExtensions API. Which is the future of add-ons.
• Available for both Firefox and Chrome with identical functions and user interfaces. So one easier learning curve :)
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zoom-page-we/bcdjhkphgmiapajkphennjfgoehpodpk
• Friendly and fast support from author
The bad
• After you click on the toolbar button, the text on the following 3 buttons overlap the buttons: “Reset”, “Auto”, “Reset”. Which make those 3 buttons both hard to see and use. But the buttons are still usable. The author said there is a fix in progress to resolve that.
Note
• This is now fixed with version 6.3+. With the previous version 6.2 at “about:addons” under the add-on “Preferences” page the location of the configuration of options might be hard to find for newcomers. Because to find those the user has to scroll all the way under the very long add-on description text :( In my case, after an initial configuration I seldom need to change those configurations though. So it is still usable :) I suggest to keep the add-on description text concise. And move the long details to a webpage. Such as the add-on homepage at https://addons.mozilla.org
Then add link(s) from the add-on “Preferences” page to the add-on homepage. I understand Mozilla made a poor usability choice by moving the configuration to that location. But I’m assuming the developer has control over the lenght of the text and can add URL into that description of the add-on “Preferences” page? Any other suggestion to resolve this challenge?

pubblicato il 7 anni faWith Zoom Page WE 7.1, both the popup panel and the options dialog will automatically adjust to accommodate the larger font sizes used on some platforms. - Valutata 1 su 5di JonnyOne, 7 anni faHello, this addons is pretty useless. Please make one to lock the zoom level for all opened tabs, and new tabs. Something like default zoom level.
I need to install a crx from chrome store for this functionality.

so, to modify a simple number (default zoom level), i have to make 6-7 different mouse clicks in different menu's?
no, sorry, better install

pubblicato il 7 anni faZoom Page WE 6.4 now lets you set the default zoom level from the toolbar button popup.
Just 'Ctrl+click' on the zoom 'Reset' button and this will set the default zoom level to the currently displayed zoom level. - Valutata 1 su 5di ers2258, 7 anni faAutofit STILL DOES NOT WORK!
Really nothing more than a Beta update time after time with each newer version.
Dev fix this "THEN" release a WE Version that actually works instead of using the rest of us users a test pilots.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 7 anni faThe 'AutoFit' button does a one-off fit-to-width operation that automatically resizes the page contents to fit the page width.
There is an option to automatically apply AutoFit every time a page is loaded and when the browser window is resized. This option is called 'Apply AutoFit zoom instead of default zoom level'. - Valutata 3 su 5di Umagic65, 7 anni faFor some odd reason, this addon will not automatically scale images to fit within the window; it makes them huge when I want ALL of them to fit and it will not quit.
It's like the "autofit" function doesn't even work. I have to resize all the pictures BY HAND.
Otherwise, this is a worthy replacement for the almighty "Zoom Page" addon (which had an autofit function that actually worked AUTOMATICALLY).Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 7 anni faZoom Page WE 7.1 extends Firefox's 'View Image' functionality to scale small images to fit the browser window.
Note, this image scale feature is separate from the page AutoFit feature (which is suspended when viewing images). - Valutata 4 su 5di Ziwdon, 7 anni faThis addon is a must have for me. Although this new version still appears to have some bugs (some sites do not seem to be affected for instance) and can be improved.

- https://addons.mozilla.org - Valutata 2 su 5di Utente Firefox 13333065, 7 anni faMost users just want to magnify the browser up to a preset level. Why would you change that and make it so hard just to set a default level, as in the previous iteration?
I was just about to uninstall add on because I could find no obvious way to set the default zoom level. Not one word of explanation is offered--just endless and (for me) pointless discussions about what the add on could do. Very strange.
By reading the reviews I found some hints on how to set the default level and was able to make the desired zoom adjustment.
The product is excellent. The instructions for busy people are horrendously bad. Do something about it if you want to have success.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 7 anni faThis issue is caused by Mozilla's design, not by Zoom Page WE.
Once you have discovered how to access the Options dialog, then setting the required options is very simple.
For some bizarre reason, Mozilla have decided to place the Options dialog (for add-ons that use the new WebExtensions API's) at the end of the add-on description page. - Valutata 5 su 5di joefiesta, 7 anni faNew, 20210608:
Your help states:
Zoom Page WE is implemented using the new WebExtensions API and is available for both Firefox and Chrome with identical functions and user interfaces.
I find this slightly incorrect. When I export per-site option in FF, the filetype is .TXT. From Chrome, the filetype is .JSON.
Not such a problem, but, I can't import the FF per-site options to CHROME, even if I change the filetype to .JSON
The onlyi thing I see may be a problem is the final statement from FF is
"subsitetypes":{},
}
It has a trailing comma, but when I export from Chrome there is none.
Can I import FF options into Chrome and how?

Old:
I justinstalled Zoom Page WE. (getting away from Zoom Page).
It breaks the following page:
https://www.ebay.com/dsc/Fiesta-Vintage/87/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=&LH_TitleDesc=1&_sop=10
I get the "unresponsive script" dialog. Does it consistently. I disable ZoompageWE and the page refreshes fine.
Running FF 52.4.0 EST... win 7 Pro, 32 bit
Addition, 10/4: Maybe I'm doing something wrong, But, it looks like I can not make more than one review. I wanted to list each problem in a separate review, but it looks like Mozilla deletes a previous review when I make a new one. So, communicating problems with reviews is problematic.
My second problem:
I set up the options to define customized zoom amounts(30, 40 50, etc) . I also set the Zoom In/Out to fixed steps of 4%.
using CTRL+ and CTRL- makes the zoom amount change by the "customized zoom amounts". Using the drop down menu + and - makes the zoom amounts change by the "In/Out fixed steps" amounts.
a. This is not documented
b. This is clumsy. That is, using the drop down menu is clumsy just to change a zoom amount. Any time I have to pick up the mouse and use it I am not happy. It would be perfect if I could define a keyboard shortcut for the two zoom by In/Out fixed amount functions. Or, just have them defined (maybe ctrl 11 and ctrl 12 or anything besides the mouse).Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 7 anni faThe unresponsive script problem is fixed in Zoom Page WE 6.2.
With regards to the Ctrl+- and Ctrl++ keyboard shortcuts, iIt depends on whether the page contents are focused or something else (e.g. the address bar) is focused.
If the page contents are focused, then Ctrl+0, Ctrl+- & Ctrl++ will use the user-defined zoom levels or zoom step.
If something else (e.g. the address bar) is focused, then Ctrl+0, Ctrl+- & Ctrl++ will use the standard Firefox zoom levels. - Valutata 5 su 5di gugarci, 7 anni faJust upgraded to this version this morning. I knew how to access the option menu because I had use the previous version that worked on earlier version of Firefox. But when I saw the option dialog box at the bottom of the option page I thought it was an image of the menu not the actual option menu. Sent email to the developer who responded within a minute of sending him a support email. All is well.

- If the Firefox menu bar is not visible, press F10 to show the menu bar.
- On the Firefox menu bar, click on 'Tools' and then click on 'Add-ons', to show the Add-ons Manager.
- In the Add-ons Manager, click on the 'Extensions' tab, to show a list of all installed add-ons.

- Change the value in the ‘Default Levels (%): Full’ box from ‘100’ to your preferred default zoom level.
