Can't make it work in private windows in spite of setting it to do so.
Couldn't find a way to give feedback to Nodetics - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13272506, a month agoSo far the best RSS add-on, but it definitely needs an undelete / recycle-bin option!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Westerly, 4 months agoI love this add-on, but the lack of a search function is a massive inconvenience. If you have a lot of feeds it becomes next to impossible to find specific ones, or to troubleshoot problems with particular feeds. While you can do a browser 'find' to get feed titles, there's no ability to search for feed URLs, for example.
This becomes a massive problem if a feed becomes compromised or generates errors (as happens often enough to be an issue), because the error message or security software warning will give only the URL of the offending feed, making it next to impossible to actually find the problem feed and remove it (at least, not without going through hundreds of feeds manually one-by-one until you find the problem - something that would easily take hours to do).
It seems like such basic functionality, it's frustrating that I can't search the information that the add-on has gathered - feed name, url, etc.
Another frustrating issue is that it's very difficult to organize feeds when moving to a new device. I used to have all of my feeds arranged neatly in folders based on genre, etc. and when I tried to transfer all that over, it did not export my folder hierarchy, it only exported the feeds themselves. I now face hours of re-sorting them, and the tools for sorting are not great.
Having said all that, I use this add-on avidly and have for years. At its core I believe it's the best add-on of its kind available for Firefox. - Rated 4 out of 5by The Rhetorician, 5 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by RichT54, 7 months agoThis was working perfectly until the latest Feedbro update. Since then I do not get any sound when new entries are found on my feeds, although the number on the icon does change. The rule has not changed and the sound option is still set.

- Rated 4 out of 5by islisis, 8 months agoMost intuitive rss reader for FF I have found so far. I would like to ask the developer to consider the option to disable certain shortcut keys, as even when unset they override existing shortcuts in FF (such as alt-1...8 for selecting tabs in Linux.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Steph Be-D, a year agoTo keep my feeds on a new browser, I exported an OPML file but I would like to be able to find my articles marked with a star. Is it possible ?
- Rated 4 out of 5by Henna, a year agoMinus one star because of the lack of syncronisation. I lose my old saved feeds when I get a new computer :(
Edit/ I mean I would like to store old articles from my feeds.Developer response
posted a year agoHi Henna! If you open Feedbro Options page, you can export your feed subscriptions as OPML file. You can then import those subscriptions again if you get a new computer. It's good to take this backup occasionally. - Rated 4 out of 5by skribe, a year agoA great addon. The only thing missing is autosync between devices, but that's not necessarily a showstopper.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 16644607, a year agoPerfect extension! But one suggestion. Make block with "All items" till "Statistic" toggleable. On laptop screen it eat to much space. There almost not left room for feeds list items. Ideally move it to top bar. Bunch of switches in top bar can be replaced with dropdown selectors. Thanks. One more thing - nested folders. Or use not folders but multiple tag per feed. Cheers.
- Rated 4 out of 5by JustPlainBill, a year agoOn my Windows 7 PC, this has been my favorite add-on, bar none, for years now. However, I now have a problem. I have installed this on my new Windows 11 PC, and although it shows up in my list of installed extensions, the button did not appear on my toolbar. It accepted the import of my RSS feeds, but I have no idea how to actually open the reader.

- Rated 4 out of 5by jojojo, 2 years agoI hope for the inclusion of multi-level folder functionality. The OPML file I imported only contains the first-level folder, while the rest of the feeds have been flattened.

- Rated 4 out of 5by HeLL, 2 years agoIs there any chance that the developers will remove the limit on the maximum number of entries to save?
