- Rated 5 out of 5by syldub, 3 years agoI still use this great extension to provide the domain name in the titlebar. This functionality has NOT been superseded by KeePassXC-Browser add-on, contrary to what the author says :o)
Sadly it does not work on some webpages on many website (for instance: https://www.blablacar.fr/login)... Could you fix it?Developer response
posted 3 years agoI sadly don't use this add-on anymore nor have time to support it. I've tested blablacar.fr with my KeePassXC setup and it's browser extension and works okay. Also works with Keepass2Android app on the phone. I keep my database in Google Drive and synced to Linux folder real-time. That way any changes I make to either device is synced right away. You can check my screenshot of the test here:

- Rated 5 out of 5by Darkoshi, 6 years agoThank you for creating this add-on for FF57 as the other legacy titlebar text addons don't work anymore. For the most part, it does just what it is supposed to. I've found one minor issue - it doesn't work on some YouTube pages, when logged in to YouTube. I have the titlebar text set to constant text like "Yogo - " followed by {PageTitle}, but it shows (11) instead of Yogo. When not logged in, it sometimes omits the constant text.
- Rated 5 out of 5by nikgrc, 6 years agoVery good Thanks!
I would like to see more options to add in title please:
a. Current Firefox version (full, major, and minor)
b. The last string that is fixed now "- Mozilla Firefox" as an option too (i want to add custom text after this)
Thanks - Rated 5 out of 5by dapgo, 6 years agoSimple but very useful, current ver 2.1.7 works fine in Waterfox 55.2.
This version cannot be installed in FF/Palemoon 27 but version 2.0.8 works well.Developer response
posted 6 years agoHello dpago, thank you for your positive review. I've mistakenly removed the add-on listing for previous legacy version (2.0.8) which doesn't work for FF55 anymore.
For FF54 and less you can use the legacy version: https://github.com/hrvojesolc/Custom-Titlebar-Text/blob/legacy/legacy/customize_titlebar_v2-0.8-fx.xpi
For FF55 and up you can use the version in this listing.
As mentioned on Github bug report, new Web Extension API is currently rather limited hence a reduction of options such as {Platform Version}. - Rated 5 out of 5by siffe, 7 years agoEasy to configure and does what it's supposed to do. It would be even nicer if there were an option to hide the Page url on the tab itself.

posted 7 years agoThank you for a positive review. Unfortunately the tab title is what gives the window its name. This is Mozilla implementation. Removing URL from the tab title is possible as it is now, but then it unfortunately won't be in the window title. Tab name = window title, as per Mozilla.
There are some add-ons to manipulate tab width to make it shorter, but new add-on web extensions API that is compatible with FF57+ is rather limited.
