by anarchofox, 6 months agoSorry, but why is this a recommended add-on by Firefox when the source code isn't available? Your privacy policy is meaningless. Your addon requires heft permissions and we can't see - for sure, not going by your word - what it does with them. This is not the sort of thing Mozilla should be recommending. If this is a "free" add-on, but not open-source, then users should suspect they are the product being sold, not the software.
Please provide source code. I would love to revise this review.

posted 5 months agoMozilla Add-on Store admins review each and every version of recommended extensions manually to ensure that they are 100 % safe by reviewing the source code that we submit.
Quote from Mozilla Recommended extensions page: "These chosen extensions undergo intense scrutiny in the form of manual security reviews. They're examined from every angle to ensure they meet our strict policies, leaving no room for compromise."
Since Feedbro is also available on Google and Edge add-on stores, their admins have reviewed the extension as well ensuring that it's completely safe. As stated, we do not gather any data about users or send anything to servers on the internet.
If you don't have faith in Mozilla Add-on Store reviewers, fine, but please don't spread FUD or make demands.

- Rated 3 out of 5by arsentical, 8 days agoMissing several features like the ability to undo deletions or have nested folder structures. These are things that really annoy me from time to time, but the rest of the functionality is good enough that I do recommend it. At the very least the developers do seem to be very open about bugs and other info.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13513971, 2 months agoI haven't touched an RSS Feeder in a while since most of them had clunky interfaces that were quite reliant on point-and-click. Thank goodness this RSS reader exists. It's definitely made with speed and efficiency in mind as stated in their About section! I LOVE shortcuts in any app I go with, and the devs actually understand how important shortcuts are! My favorite is the versatility of the feed view -- there are 6 options to choose from and I love how I can just scroll through full articles if I wanted to. The different view modes work perfectly if you're subscribed to different kinds of sites, like news articles to image-heavy sites or blogs. Interface is simple, no fuss and loads stuff really fast. Keeps my peace of mind! Thank you developers!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Steph Be-D, 2 months agoTo keep my feeds on a new browser, I exported an OPML file but I would like to be able to find my articles marked with a star. Is it possible ?
- Rated 2 out of 5by Gtbs, 2 months agoThe inability to set the extension as an about:home page and recommendation to "just not do this" is a dealbreaker.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Henna, 3 months agoMinus one star because of the lack of syncronisation. I lose my old saved feeds when I get a new computer :(
Edit/ I mean I would like to store old articles from my feeds.Developer response
posted 3 months agoHi Henna! If you open Feedbro Options page, you can export your feed subscriptions as OPML file. You can then import those subscriptions again if you get a new computer. It's good to take this backup occasionally. - Rated 5 out of 5by Duckjing, 3 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by skribe, 4 months agoA great addon. The only thing missing is autosync between devices, but that's not necessarily a showstopper.

Also, won't update (automatically or manually) after a while (days).
Sorry, this DID NOT work for me. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13366226, 4 months ago

posted 4 months agoFix for this is mentioned in Known Issues section F9. Unfortunately if the Firefox profile is corrupted, it's impossible to fix it from WebExtension code. Thank you for understanding. - Rated 5 out of 5by dxm112, 5 months ago
