After contacting the support team, they were able to determine the cause, but replied that "we are unable to fix this problem" and abandoned any further work.
I am still unable to use this extension to this day, which is very disappointing as I was a loyal user of this extension.
I hope the developer will improve the extension as soon as possible and try to reduce the number of people like me.Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by Oscarous64, 9 months agoEvery time I open Firefox and start to type it clears the search bar after 1 second which is beyond annoying. It might seem like a minor problem, but it gets infuriating when you type your search quickly and hit enter only to find out it messed up your search.
And more than that, I noticed it slows down Firefox substantially, sometimes it takes up to 10 seconds just to load in an ordinary website. The VPN and it's functions work perfectly fine so I think it's just a problem with the extension itself.Developer response
