- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13183601, 3 years agoOkta forces end users to install a plugin they clearly do not need.
I need to use Okta for work, otherwise I would avoid this like the plague. Requires way to many permissions for the problem it is supposed to solve. It was perfectly possible to do the same work from the subdomain.okta.com webpage and they removed that support to force users to install a plugin that brings them no benefits, just provides access to their browsing. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13444517, 3 years ago

So it is back to using the buggy password management of the web login form which keeps wanting to save "test" as the password every time I log in.
- Rated 1 out of 5by asumm92, 4 years agoThis plugin worked fine for me in Chrome. But since I switched to Firefox, it doesn't seem to work for this browser. Even though I'm logged in to my Okta account through the website, it still tells me I need to log in. I wish Okta would fix this, because it was a really convenient plugin for me in Chrome.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13195976, 4 years agoIt used to work fine, but in the last week now it just says "An error has occurred. There is a problem with the plugin. To proceed, click the Refresh Plugin button below to clear the plugin cache." I do this and it takes me to the Okta sign in page. I sign in and the browser extension just says the same thing.
The Chrome version of the extension is working fine.Developer response

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14922880, 4 years agoTotally uneccessary, flaky, crashes, and has none of the features in other password managers.
I'm stuck with it because of work, but I'd avoid it like the plague if I could.
Edit in response to the developer response - I think that's part of the problem, I shouldn't need a browser add-on.Developer response

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15821230, 5 years agoIntrusive, annoying, doesn't honor user defined configuration.
If I wasn't required to have this installed I'd have thrown it out a window.
No matter what configuration settings you choose this annoying add-on pops on every single page you visit and can't be closed.Developer response
posted 5 years agoSorry for the trouble! This should only popup if you visit a site that has a saved login in Okta. Otherwise, it should stay silent. We would love to look in to why you're having this issue so we can correct this. Please email us at pluginsupport@okta.com so we can help. Thanks!
