Reading List by Leetcat

by GeorgeA, 3 years agoI'm having to uninstall this now. I've seen this too many times, often taking many weeks to "re-show" the issue. Basically, you delete all or some of the entries (in my case, its the whole lot), and for ages, they are gone. Great. But then you come back some time MUCH later, and every single one of your previously saved reading list has come back! In my case, some things have come back from the end of 2019 that have already been deleted several times! Where is it keeping this stuff? Why is it bringing it back? I otherwise love it, and it looks very smart, but this behaviour is just now a complete deal breaker.

posted 3 years agoYour issue seems like a very strange one. All of the reading items are stored in the browser so when you delete it is deleted in the browser. We will look into this, please add data and follow the ticket number https://github.com/alexpdraper/reading-list/issues/123 for this issue.

This reading list extension allows you to save pages in a list to get back to later. It’s super slick and easy to use, and it helps keep your tab count down.
How to use it?
1. Go to a page you want to save for later
2. Click the reading list icon on the top right of your browser Chrome Reading List icon
3. Click the + button
4. When you want to read a page you saved, open up the extension and click the reading item you want to read (control + click or command ⌘/windows key ⊞ + click to open the page in a new tab)
5. Done with a page? Click the × next to said page in your reading list, and it will magically vanish. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18020650, 9 months ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by kepler-22B, a year agoWorked fairly well early on but now it stopped working. Cannot add a page using extension button. It will add a page if the sidebar is open but does not save the added page. Is there a limit to the number of pages that it can save? Stopped working prior to FireFox 110.0.1.

- Rated 5 out of 5by LiveWireGoth, a year agoI've been working on transferring my browser stuff over from Chrome. I've gotten pretty use to having reading list at this point so this add on is a must need if you're use to the Chrome features.
Edit: Just a heads up cause I guess I use this way too much but the amount of pages you can save to the reading list is around 369. Any more after that won't save(if you manage to it will disappear after going to another tab/page) I need to work on cleaning up what I put in the reading list.
