- Rated 1 out of 5by RV, 6 hours agoDoes absolutely nothing on my end anymore. Used to work a charm, when it had the old interface. After the new one it doesn't do anything.
Edit: I don't know how you want me to tell you more. If I activate the plugin it does nothing. Still black bars all around my video.Developer response

posted 9 days agoIf I know what you're aiming at and I believe I do, I'm afraid there's nothing that can be done regarding that. It's always best if video output is larger than the screen itself (4K/8K), so that it doesn't lose the quality on upscale.
Thank you for the review, Mert. I appreciate it :) - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16850487, 17 days ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Problematist, a month agoDoes what it says on the tin. Really convenient and easy to configure. Also can make videos smaller which comes in handy for the low bitrate for 1080p on YouTube.

That is completely true. I guess I should mention that somewhere on the web page.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Potts, a month agoOne of those extensions that you forget you even have installed, because it really should just be how things work. Then you go to another browser and enter Letterbox Hell™️ before remembering how dang useful it is.

I am downloading Opera GX right now to see what's the sourcery behind their RGX mode.
If possible with Web technologies, I will implement it into the extension for sure.

EDIT:
Apparently they do something within their browser implementation - internally.
However, I've been able to whip something up quickly and achieve better results:

This app helps fix full-screen problems like Star Trek not wanting to work with 21:9 screen ratios even though the shows are basically filmed that way now... or streaming sports apps that auto-zoom and cut off players heads. Occasionally requires some math to re-squish things via the X:Y ratios.
Could maybe use a way to stay "on top" for fullscreen adjustments but I usually just open another window behind it to access menu.Developer response
posted a month agoHey there!
Glad it helps in those situations that you were having issues with.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a solution for the extension popup interface to stay on the top. It seems to be default behaviour on Chrome for example, but Firefox doesn't do it.
I'll do further research on this topic and if possible, I will definitely work on it.
