- Rated 1 out of 5by Daniël, 10 months agoSame problem as 'Shay Shay'. Addon does not seem to remember preferences and ask them every time I open firefox.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Shay Shay, 10 months agoEveryday when I open my browser, I am prompted to select what I want Adnauseam to block.
It should remember my selection, and should not assume I want to change it everyday. - Rated 1 out of 5by JohnnyFrust, a year agoForced dark theme. Light should always be the default as its a standard and easier on the eyes for most people. Dark should be optional if included. Edit: I wouldn't bother with this if using Firefox. You have to disable to many privacy features in order for it to work. At that point, it defeats the primary purpose of using Firefox.

posted a year agoDear JohnnyFrust, we have now implemented a light-theme on latest release, be sure to update. You will find the option for light theme on "color blind friendly" option. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18072679, a year agoIt worked great until a few days ago and now I might as well not even have it enabled.

posted a year agoHello, thank you for letting us know, but since the last version 3.18.0 this has been fixed already. - Rated 1 out of 5by Cal, 2 years agoGood idea, but completely unusable for me thanks to being locked in dark mode and not respecting my light-mode-only accessibility settings.
Developer response
posted a year agoDear Cal, we have now added light-theme support. You will find it on "Color blind friendly" option in the dashboard. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17887783, 2 years agoI do not recommend it does not recognize the advertisement and its existence has no meaning
- Rated 1 out of 5by WayTooBad, 2 years agoacceptable ads enabled by default, there is no such thing as acceptable ads. if someone wants/needs something they can google it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Fady Anwar, 3 years agoI had high hopes but this tool does not work as advertised! I purposefully visited sites full with ads with none captured!
Developer response
posted 2 years agoHello Fady, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunatelly we cannot collect all ads that are generated on webpages. Some websites are more successful than others. Google, Bing and search engines tend to usually collect many ads. Pages with lots of video ads can't be collected in the same unfortunately. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13735873, 3 years agoYoutube does not even load right now on Firefox. Had to disable or switch to Brave browser (works there for some reason).

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15275051, 5 years agoUsed to be amazing and I support the idea behind it, but lately this extension does nothing, ads show up all the time on sites it used to work on. Hopefully they bring it back to working form.
- Rated 1 out of 5by dimelis, 5 years agoПриложение не работает должным образом: 90% рекламы не блокируется.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16101702, 5 years agothis extension used to be the best ad blocker extension , but lately ads started to show up in youtube so i switched to (uBlock Origin) and i never looked back.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16048248, 5 years agoI'm really sad to have to give this a 1-star review because I support what it's trying to accomplish 110%. The problem is that it just completely fails at times to identify and block ANY ads on a webpage. I mean literally every single ad gets through and it's as if I had turned it off entirely.
I think this happens when you get to more than around 10,000 blocked ads. Some sort of bug occurs and you have a 50% chance of the add-on not working at all. Opening it on an offending page that is showing all ads shows Adnauseum thinks there are no ads on the site at all.
I'm going back to uBlock Origin but I will check back in a few months. Looks like everyone else is experiencing the same problems though.
Please put this on Github or something so we can file bug reports and check the source. - Rated 1 out of 5by WakeUp, 5 years agoThe main issue of this addon is that it doesn't block all the ads that "uBlock Origin" blocks successfully (in spite of AdNauseam is based on uBlock Origin!).
Developers suggest users to report bugs for each site and add screenshots.
But the entire issues persists.
It makes the addon completely useless.
I would rather use uBlock Origin. - Rated 1 out of 5by mikel, 5 years agoIdeia oso ona blokeatzeaz gain iragarkiei klik egitearena, baina niri ez dit funtzionatu, adblock jarri dut berriro.

posted 6 years agoIf you can give us some more detail (site, page, browser, etc), we'd be happy to help figure out what is going on- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15048695, 6 years agoThis add-on worked great for a while. It now blocks nothing. It indicates there are no ads and the pages are filled with ads.
Developer response
posted 6 years agoThis suggests a problem with the Firefox profile. Can you try installing AdNauseam in a fresh profile? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15047738, 6 years agoDoesn't even detect any ads. All content blocking settings are disabled, and this is the only extension I have. Nothing at all.
