- Rated 1 out of 5by cbro, 2 months agoDoesn't work - it simply won't login, even when I have allowed cookie permissions in my browser settings. Possibly doesn't play nicely with Firefox's Multi-Account Containers

- Rated 1 out of 5by Tommy, 3 years agoCannot be used if you use Container feature in Firefox. It will always be stuck in log-in no matter how much you try. Please do fix this. Thanks

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13716826, 3 years agoThis addon flat out doesn't work if you open Notion in a tab container. You're completely unable to log in, which renders it useless.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Kathy, 4 years agoWell, I loved the idea and tried everything in my power to make it work. I tried it on my iPhone 8, I tried it on MacOS Big Sur on Firefox and I desperately tried it on Chrome for Mac and on my Windows Laptop as well. All it does is copying the Website's title and the link to my notion page. And believe me - I tried everything from Wikipedia to Blog Articles. Nothing worked. I even tried other networks. I'm so sad because I really want this extension to work.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Richi, 4 years agoI don't get the high rating. The extension doesn't work on all pages. It would just save the title and the URL.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15127019, 6 years agoPlease fix your issues with third-party cookies if you do care about your customers' privacy and alliance with Mozilla Firefox. It worked fine before Firefox updates; linked to what another user mentioned below, then just forget about Firefox users to concentrate your market with Chrome users otherwise. These companies will lose its growing Firefox users as web clipper extensions perfectly work within competitors like "Bear", but not with "Notion" or "Evernote".

posted 6 years agoThanks for bearing with us — we understand the frustration and the importance of our users' privacy. We should have done a better job communicating our extension's requirements. Notion uses a cookie to authenticate requests from the Web Clipper. Because the extension's active domain is a moz-extension:// URI and not https://notion.so, it registers as a third-party cookie to Firefox.
If you are willing to add a single exception for the https://notion.so domain, the Web Clipper will work even if you have tracking protection enabled and all other third-party cookies blocked:
1. Open Firefox Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Permissions
2. Add "notion.so"
3. Click "Save Changes." (This step is important! Your preferences won't be saved otherwise.)
After adding this exception, you should be able to use the Web Clipper.
If you have further questions about our cookie usage or data privacy, feel free to reach out to team@makenotion.com, on Twitter at @NotionHQ, or via the ( ? ) at the bottom right of Notion — we'd be more than happy to chat. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13514027, 6 years agoI've put 1 star for this add-on because it doesn't work for me. I am using Firefox 68.0 on macos Mojave 10.14.5.
I am asked to log in, and open a page for the login. I'm logging in. And then, I go to another page and I want to test the add-on functionality, and it asked me for the login. If I click again, then I see my Notion workspace, but doesn't do anything. Everything I click on the Notion Add-on I keep seeing the "Please Login".
Doesn't matter if I close firefox, or uninstall/reinstall the add-on, it keeps showing me the "Please Login" screen.
I've tried in Chrome, and there it works without any problems.
So until I cannot see that this add-on works, for me it is not useful at all on firefox, therefor the one star.Developer response
posted 6 years agoHi! Do you have third-party cookies disabled? If so, you may need to add an exception for notion.so in your Firefox settings. We use a cookie to track whether you're logged in, and it registers as a third-party cookie because the extension's active domain is a moz-extension:// URI and not http://notion.so.
To add an exception for the Web Clipper:
1. Open Firefox Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Permissions
2. Add "notion.so"
3. Click "Save Changes." (This step is important! Your preferences won't be saved otherwise.)
You should be able to use the Web Clipper now. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to team@makenotion.com, on Twitter at @NotionHQ, or via Intercom chat in the app.
