- Rated 2 out of 5by binglosmuck, a month agofrequent popup tabs begging for money defeats the purpose of the goddamn addon. it was fine when it was every few months but the current frequency has me disabling this. CUT IT OUT

posted 15 days agoWe display the payment page to non-premium users when we update the extension (about every two weeks). You can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the tab. You can opt-out with these steps: 1) Click the AdBlock icon on your browser toolbar. 2) Click the gear icon. 3) Select the Filter Lists tab. 4) De-select the Acceptable Ads option. It can't be that almost every day that I open the browser it takes me to a page that asks for payment. There was a point where I considered purchasing the premium package but decided not to due to the many times the program asked for payment. Just excessive! In the meantime I deleted and moved on to something else.

posted 4 months agoThe update page should only display once each time we release an update to the extension. Please try reinstalling the extension. Better switch to ublockorigin or any clean fork

This seems to happen about every 4th time I open firefox, usually a few minutes into the session - so just as I am starting to type or interact with something.
On the plus side it does stop ads, so if you can cope with the relentless demands for a contribution for this "free" add-on this may be for you....Developer response

I deleted my old adblocker and installed this one hoping it would block picrew ads, instead, it doesn't even recognize them as ads, even when I click on them to specifically be disabled.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17562156, 3 years ago数か月前にMicrosoftedgeの拡張機能で使用したところ機能しているの様子がなかったので拡張機能から削除しました。 Firefoxではどのように機能するか？拡張機能に入れてみようか妄想してます。しかし最近、思うのだが私の場合、新聞を良くネット上で閲覧するのだが、この手のメディア媒体は広告料で成り立っていると思われるので表示されないようにするのは少し野暮の行為か？と思うようになってきた。しかし、私がネットを使いはじめた頃、広告や動画コマーシャルはなかった！ 昔のネットに戻りたいたいから色々な拡張機能を追加したりして広告が出ないようにしている。 広告が収入源になっている媒体はこれは広告が収入源となっている為、広告を消されると経営が立ち行かなくなるので広告を映るようにして下さい。程度の表示くらい出して欲しい。 そうすれば少しは納得できる。文章が脱線。機能するか期待です。

posted 3 years agoIf you're seeing ads on your email, please check the following in the AdBlock Options menu:
1. Click on the AdBlock toolbar icon.
2. Click on the gear symbol on the pop-up menu.
3. Click on the "Filter lists" tab.
4. Check to see that the Acceptable Ads option is unchecked. Reload the site. Do you still see ads?
