Bitwarden Password Manager by Bitwarden Inc.

by SailAway, a month agoI have the desktop and the android apps also. It takes a bit to get used to it. Security is not as easy as just leaving the door open, the lock adds complexity. Though this is a great way to maintain different passwords for each account. I lost a few accounts due to having similar passwords and one of them was the 2 factor email. I no longer have any passwords that are in anyway similar to each other.
It explains what you need to do to export your logins from Firefox, or Google Chrome(most other browsers are just a skin on chrome)
Though now after using it for 2 months it works great. Took a little bit for me to get used to it. I have even paid to support the continued management and support. Though you can use it for free.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13590371, 13 hours agoI'm a big fan of Bitwarden and a paying customer. However the Firefox plugin at the moment is in a desperate state. It keeps hanging after start and requires restarts of Firefox to get working. I even had to reinstall it to fix it. (Problem was reproducible by other users as you can see in the issues). How can I be confident to share my passwords with it if a plugin does not work reliable?

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14612405, a day agoits been 2 years since they introduced a regression where biometrics fail. Now its been another 2 months (since 24.4 release) where the addon logs you out constantly. Firefox is just not a priority for bitwarden, sadly.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Sha, 3 days agoWould really appreciate if unlock with face id is integrated as a feature. We do not have to type master passwords or unlock with pin all the time. Love the way i can use my self hosted server as password manager.

- Rated 3 out of 5by foxlad, 4 days agoUsed to be great, the service itself is amazing. But recently (months ago) there's been a bug every time I try to open it on a private window. It just shows a white square where the addon popup should be and I can't access the internet on any firefox window until I close firefox completely.

- Rated 2 out of 5by glen, 4 days agothe extension is constantly resetting itself causing a full login all the time and clearing my settings such as pin lock option. Has been doing it for months and is extremely frustrating.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Glaukar, 4 days agoFor those getting the logout bug, Bitwarden claim they fixed it in the upcoming 2024.6.0 - in the mean time you can downgrade to 2024.3.1 as well.
