- Rated 4 out of 5by s20, a year agoWhile this does more or less exactly what I want it to, I have two issues, both minor. One, it doesn't seem to remember dark mode settings, which is kind of a big deal. Two, I'm not a fan of the Chrome look and feel; that's a minor issue, and probably just a me thing. Otherwise, pretty great.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Projekt R, 4 years agoThis is brilliant. I only wish there was an option for the add-on to remember the state of the folders. I'd like to have them all open/expanded every time I launch the add-on.
- Rated 4 out of 5by David W., 5 years agoThis extension is just what I was looking for, I'm used to the bookmark manager that's utilized in the chrome browser. And while I know that firefox isn't chrome by any means, I still prefer the chrome style bookmark manager. I just installed this add-on, so I fully haven't evaluated it yet, but hopefully it will oerform the way I desire.

posted 5 years agoThanks for the review, i made this extension just because i really don't like the built-in bookmark manager of firefox, and i do like the one with chrome, hope you will enjoy using it like i do, if you have any issues with it, or you want a new feature to be added, feel free to open an issue at https://github.com/tiancihe/bookmark-manager/issues - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 12708511, 5 years agoIn the way the Chrome browser manages bookmarks, this does it the same way. They are all within a single page, in a hierarchy that allows a drill out to a right-pane showing sub folders or to the URLs within the folders. This is a very easy and elegant way to manage bookmarks and I have been hoping either Mozilla or an extension would provide it. It also serves as a way to access all your bookmarks so you can hide the book mark toolbar and gain some vertical space: just pin the Book Mark Manager tab. I gave it 4 stars because it does not appear to support drag-drop of a URL from the address bar which is the only way I create new bookmarks and a feature supported in Chrome.
Response to developer's response- I don't see 5 stars on the right of the address bar but do see see three dots which list a variety of options. One option is to bookmark the page but there is no ability to control where it is saved in your book mark folders.Developer response
posted 5 years agoThanks for the review. To be honest, i don't know that you can drag the url to the manager to create a new bookmark until now... i personally use the hotkey ctrl + d (command + d on mac), and there is a five star icon on the right side of the address bar that you can click on to bookmark the current page. By the way, you can open the manager by using the hotkey ctrl + alt + b (command + ctrl + b on mac). - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13953583, 5 years agoNice , clean, and easy to use bookmark manager. I like simplicity.. not features and bloat I will never use.. This allows me to clean and move my bookmarks easily.
- Rated 4 out of 5by flo, 5 years agoLooks good, but it would be nicer if the URL would change to reflect the path in the bookmarks. Then it would be possible to set a specific folder as homepage.
Update: thanks for implementing this 😍 I think it's a very neat looking extension 👍 One more feature I'm hoping for is tree-like expansion of sub-folders. It's already in the sidebar with the triangles, but not in the main view.Developer response
