* If you need to use simple search/replace - use "Replace" from erosman, 57 KB
* If you need to use automated search/replace (but without regexps) - use "Search and Replace" from rwanyoike, 36 KB
* If you need to use favorites, find/replace history and templates for cursor auto-inserting - take "Find & Replace for Text Editing" from Dalimil Hajek, 945 KB - Rated 5 out of 5by zikos, 6 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Galmok, 6 years agoThis addon almost worked perfectly, but the replacements aren't working on page load with Azure pages. Have to manually apply the translations once the page is loaded. I was looking for an automatic solution. Otherwise, this addon has it all.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Hua Rong, 6 years agoThis doesn't work for Firefox Android. You cannot add anything because the keyboard does not show up when you tap on a text field.

posted 6 years agoIt's for good reasons that it is marked as not compatible with Android. - Rated 5 out of 5by ashmedai, 6 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14657155, 6 years agoThis addon uses F9 as a hotkey to view the sidebar. The same hotkey used by Firefox for reader mode. As a result, whenever you press F9 to invoke reader mode, the sidebar is also activated. Please change the hotkey.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Alan Orth, 6 years agoAwesome. I'm using it to replace the huge greeting on Google Hangouts with some generic text so I don't have to worry about opening Hangouts when I'm in a public place.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12645688, 6 years agoWorks okay, but it's per-page. Have to redo this 1000 times? No thanks.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14385574, 6 years agoIt's very good, and much better than word replacer II that I used to obliged to use on chrome.
- Rated 5 out of 5by IndoJunt, 6 years agoAwesome addon, that does exactly what it says and more!
This is the only addon i found, that can replace links and urls on load automatically. - Rated 1 out of 5by SGM, 6 years agoIt doesn't work at all. The words I want to have replaced still show up on websites as usual. When I refreshed the website it replaced the words for a split second, and when the page finished loading the original words popped back...

You have to press enter after filling out the "with" column.
It will then add your replace as a row and you will see a new row below it.
you should then be able to click apply/ok.
Works great, as far as I can tell. using to modify html on page load. Thanks! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14180793, 7 years agoI have just used this powerful add-on to fix the problems with my net bank's report pages, making them work exactly as I want them NOW - no need to wait for the bank to update their web app :-)
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14179921, 7 years agoGood for simple texts. I missed the possibility to save/view replace history and to replace large content in text areas like youtube description videos.
