- Rated 5 out of 5by Starlight, 7 years agoThis is a great replacement for Fire Gestures that works with the new extension API. THERE ARE THINGS EXTENSIONS CAN'T DO ANYMORE! It's not the author's fault that this doesn't work on the new tab screen, for example. Given that, this extension is pretty much perfect - easily customizable, solid, and reliable.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Tom Daae, 7 years agoClean implementation of mouse gestures. With the latest iteration, even "rocker gestures" (now known as Chords) are implemented, which makes this extension as good a replacement for Firegestures as I could ever ask for.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13539528, 7 years agoThe add-on currently cannot work in every tab and has less gesture instructions than firegesture like it cannot support history tabs pop-up.
Since there is no further information about the updating of firegesture, I hope foxy gestures can fully replace it FF57 in the future.
thanks. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13539105, 7 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Przemix, 7 years agoFull Firegestures substitute for FF57. Page Up, Page Down, Home and End actions are hard to find - named Scroll Up and Scroll on top. But when you find it, it works great. Keep the good work!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Corwex, 7 years agoWorks well for me, but Close Tab sometimes takes several seconds to take effect, and if I change tabs in the meantime, it is the newly selected one that gets closed. (I would also like if the same gesture could be used to open new tab in foregroung/background and open link in foreground/background, depending on where the gesture is started.)
- Rated 3 out of 5by Outerlimit, 7 years agoAlthough an excellent add-on, I am encountering following issues:
1. When you install it, on a brand new fresh install of Firefox, the built in gestures are mysteriously missing at times. You have to uninstall/reinstall it couple of times to get them back.
2. No way to open Multiple selected links using gestures.
Would appreciate if these things can be looked into by developer. Thanks for the addon - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13537417, 7 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13534915, 7 years agoFirst, very grateful for the work on this. I've been addicted to gestures for more years than I care to admit and I don't know how the rest of the world gets by without them. The biggest issue I'm having is the right click context menu staying on problem on Win 10 (seems like the other reports are all Linux or OSX).
- Rated 4 out of 5by DedMorozzz, 7 years agogood addon but after last update - don`t work settings! Empty page with header "Foxy Gestures Options"
Fix it please - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13529669, 7 years agoSeems to work for what I do (just forward and back) but it leaves the right-click menu present on the screen each time. Since I have to dismiss it with extra movements, not sure that the gesture really helps now. Old firegesture didn't have this problem. This is on linux.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Ibizanhound, 7 years agoThank you for making this addon as close as possible to Firegestures! Only thing that is really frustrating is the fact that it doesn't work on the internal pages of mozilla. Also if you could add a mute browser function it would great! Thank you again!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13518648, 7 years agoAfter Firefox blindsided me with the last update, I dreaded once again going through the process of finding a suitable gestures addon and customizing it. When I saw in the description the creator was a long time FireGestures user, it gave me hope. Having mostly customized it to my liking, and finding a "user scripts" area, I think that hope has been realized. I also think the options page for it is really nicely done, and very intuitive.
I am a little bit surprised it doesn't have a "home" function, and there are a few more I'd like to see added, but when that's all I have to say against it, dang...I think this is likely to be my favorite addon for quite some time!
Having become disgruntled with browsers in general, and FF in particular, this addon is a welcome relief. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13517270, 7 years agoGood add-on, but I miss the 'undo closed window' (currently only 'undo closed tab')
