- Rated 1 out of 5by gelonimo, a day agoit doesn't work, just stuck at "loading" text. And yes, I've got the FDM software, it doesn't open neither.
I greatly reccomend everyone to avoid this extension - Rated 3 out of 5by edenflare, 4 days agoDoesn't work downloaded something and it just shows up loading in the extension, also I even if it did work I doubt it can auto resume downloads.
Sorry this needs updating bad. Also your forced to allow anonymous data usage to them, which is like totally wrong to force people to use the app to force anonymous data usage, the choice is there for a reason right?
Ok I'll give it one last shot thanks, i can't find the auto resume setting?Developer response
posted 3 days agoGreetings! For the FDM browser addon to function correctly, you need to install the Free Download Manager software. You can obtain the most recent version on the official site. If you encounter any other issues, please feel free to contact our support team through this form: https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/support.htm. As for the anonimous data usage notification, we assure you that the FDM extension only transfers data necessary to launch downloads into the FDM client, just as it did before. The recent notifications were implemented solely to meet Mozilla's requirements. We value your privacy and are transparent about data usage. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17926524, 5 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12335118, 14 days agoI've used FDM for decades. Being forced to enable "anonymous" data collection is a true ensh*ttification. I will look for alternatives. 1/5 because I can't give it 0/5. Awful.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Andrew Basson ZA, 3 months agoClick add to fire fox, check , after that it brings up a page where you have to agree to data collection, I decline and presto it does not work, sorry I am reporting this add-on as I find it a horrible business practice to force users to accept data collection policies for a add-on that I intend to use for downloading
Note the add-on does not function if you decline data collectionDeveloper response
posted 2 months agoGreetings! The FDM extension requires permissions to be able to intercept audio and video downloads (some of downloads are cached by the browser and thus it's required to have access to the browser history). If you're referring to other types of data collection, kindly contact the support team using the form found on the official FDM website. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18539612, 3 months ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by illlights, 3 months agoI'm using firefox 129.0 (64-bit). The extension can intercept direct Links, but downloads from onedrive still use browser. (and some other websites, like github's Download Zip, while works well when downloading releases)
I also tried chrome extension, that works well. - Rated 5 out of 5by Mintos, 3 months ago
