- Rated 4 out of 5by CherKab, 9 months agothanks a lot for your firefox app & work
Now i can openn new tab to the way that i want.
2 issues that i would like to report:
1) is it possible to empty the address bar field so as to not do it by ourselves ?
2) the personal bar disappears when your app is in use. can it be possible to provide an option so that it keep stand if it has already setted in firefox?

1. No, that's not possible for WebExtensions.
2. I don't know what "personal bar" means, but New Tab Override doesn't change anything with regard to toolbars. Do you mean the bookmarks toolbar? Firefox has a setting to a) always show the toolbar b) only for new tabs (but that's only the case when you override it with this add-on!) or c) never show it. I guess, you should use a) in that case. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17940157, a year agoAll good and functional. Only feedback I'd give is for it not to bring me to my selected page when I open a new tab with ctrl+shift+T which is when I want to bring back a previous page and not have it be overtaken by the tab homepage :)

And when he opens my page, there's a big frame all around it, which takes up too much space on a small screen! - Rated 4 out of 5by Crazy Jimmy, a year agoThis app does just what I needed. However, it was too hard to find out how to change the URL for new tabs. I've spent perhaps 15-20 minutes clicking and, frankly, don't know how I finally got to the page that enabled changing the URL. (This may pertain to other Firefox add-ins, too.)
Would like to donate, but had bad experiences with PayPal and closed my PayPal account. Wish there was another way to donate. - Rated 4 out of 5by snoefke, 2 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by AnnoyedLeek, 2 years agoI am so glad I can finally redirect to my local web server for a custom home page. My major gripe is that opening a new tab does not clear the address bar, which is mildly infuriating. I understand that the extension settings state that Mozilla needs to fix the issue because they won't allow extension devs to change text selection in the address bar (citing a bug report filed a few years ago).
However, after reading through that bug report and clicking through to newer bug reports that cite the same issue, it seems Mozilla has changed their minds on that and now allows devs to implement this feature. I would love to see this implemented, as it would remedy my only issue!

- Rated 4 out of 5by IamAllan, 2 years agoUp until the March 3, 2023 update, it's been great! All of a sudden, my browser started crashing.
So I disabled all the extensions, and turned them on one by one. As soon as I turned on NTO, the browser crashed. As soon as I shut it off, the crashing stopped.
Still have to give 4 stars, as it's been great, otherwise. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13552953, 2 years agoWhy this extension works only for New Tab (not for New Window)?
