- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18145713, a year agoI like the convenience of this app but everything opens in a new tab. By the end of a day I end up with millions of tabs. I would like an option to make it open in the current tab.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13725588, 2 years agoIt worked pretty well with a single okta instance. But I now have multiple okta instances, and first of all, I can't figure out a way to switch between the instances using the keyboard, so I have to reach over for my mouse. And when I navigate to one of the domains for an okta instance, it changes the currently selected instance in the plugin to match. And selecting a profile in the plugin doesn't just change the plugin's selected profile, it navigates you to the okta webpage for that instance, which isn't the best user experience.
Basically, the experience with multiple okta instances/domains is clunky and awkward. - Rated 3 out of 5by SugarOak, 3 years agoOKTA probably works okay. Just watch out if your a small company owned by a much larger one. They occasionally take people off the digital roster so you can sign into OKTA but none of the applications will say you exist. *fuming mad*

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16749060, 4 years agoEDIT 2: Thanks to another reviewer, I found out you can remap the shortcut key, which was the primary reason for my 3 star choice. Not sure why Okta doesn't ship a default key binding that actually works, or why they haven't updated their own website to reflect this change, and I also think it's pretty telling that I had to find out this information from another reviewer, so I'm not going to change it. Anyways, HUGE thanks Rich L.!
Does what it's supposed to do, which is good enough for me. But seriously, still no keyboard shortcut in March of 2021? I loathe having to click on this thing every time I want to access anything, and the extra 3 seconds it takes for me to click on the plugin and then the search dialog adds up really fast given how often I need to use it. That's literally my only complaint, but I use keyboard shortcuts for almost everything on my computer, so my inability to do this for something I use so often is really quite irritating.
I see there are other reviews which mention this, and there are replies from the Okta team that they're working on it from as far back as September 2019...I understand that web development is not easy (I'm a developer myself), and I know the team has other more important priorities which is totally okay, but I have kind of a hard time believing it takes that long to implement a keyboard shortcut for one browser.
Okta team, thank you sincerely for all the hard work you've done and the very useful/powerful application you've built, but if you could at least share if you're planning on implementing this in the near future, that would be really appreciated, as it well help me decide if I want to find a workaround for this or not.
EDIT: fixed a typo - Rated 3 out of 5by dave.mcgee, 4 years agoKeyboard shortcut stopped working. Bring it back please!
(Firefox 83.0b6; Okta 5.41.1) - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13946948, 5 years agoWould be nice if the Okta enabled the ability to bind to a keyboard shortcut to interact with the Okta Browser Plugin.

That would make it a five star add-on in my eyes!
