- Rated 1 out of 5by Cliff, 6 years agoThis appears not to be working:
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
Waterfox 56.2.0 (64-bit)
I get the "One more step" page and "Check Connection" returns "Cannot find the native client". I have tried it with /usr/bin/google-chrome, /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome and blank for the native client (/usr/bin/google-chrome is in the $PATH). - Rated 5 out of 5by ELLIOTTCABLE, 7 years agoThis (and Andy's "Open in FireFox" for Chrome) is working just great for me! FireFox 60, Chrome 67, macOS 10.13, and locally-installed Node.js 10.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13602307, 7 years agoDoesn't work at all. I have the latest builds of FF Quantum and of Chrome and latest Win 10 build and after installing this and trying it, it doesn't do ANYTHING.

- Rated 5 out of 5by John Staples, 7 years agoAfter about 2 hours trying to get this to work. C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe finally worked! (chrome://version) typed in the ''address'' bar will show you the EXECUTABLE path. But! When I put in my path exactly as shown (C: \Program Files (x86) \Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe) space between the semi colon and x86 DID NOT WORK!!!! C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe is how I got it to work....

まず「ネイティブクライアント」とやらをダウンロードしてインストールすること。
次に設定画面の「Misc」という項目にある「Path to the executable」の欄に
Chromeの実行ファイルの場所を書き込む必要があります。
(Opera版では記入不要だったのでここに気がつくのに数日を要しました)
Chromeの実行ファイルの場所は自分のシステムでは次の場所でした。
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\Chrome.exe
- Rated 4 out of 5by 8394147, 7 years agoUpdate: It does work after all. The instructions for this add-on are terrible. There is an extra step they don't tell you to do: You need to go into the add-on's options, then under "misc" you need to set the "path to executable" to point to your Chrome.exe so it can connect to Chrome. I'm bumping this up to four stars because it does work (I really needed this, so thank you), but the directions need to be clearer.
Thank you to "Anonymous user eb6512" who explained this process in his/her review.
(Previous review: Doesn't work. Followed the directions exactly. Restarted Firefox. Clicking on the "Open in Chrome" button does absolutely nothing.) - Rated 5 out of 5by navic99, 7 years agoIt works. You have to follow the steps and install the package and then put in the chrome path.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Tim, 7 years ago1) PLEASE add a function for "open in Chrome" to the right click context menu. I hate having to drag my mouse to the top right of my browser just to do this.
2) Extra installation steps are required and not straightforward. - Rated 1 out of 5by Braden's PC's, 7 years ago

I realize Firefox has made it more difficult, but your instructions are seriously lacking.
