- Rated 4 out of 5by Bradley Wege, 2 months agoI don't have Chrome installed, but this extension works for me still after I changed the application directory in the extension options to use Edge instead. It'd be cool to have the option to select either Chrome or Edge to open pages. Almost perfect for my needs.

The review should include more obvious and concise steps.
----------
① Open the option page and In the 「Path to the executable2:」 item,Enter as follows.
C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe
After entering as above,
「Save Options」
Click to execute.
↓
② It doesn't work as it is, so close the Firefox browser once.
↓
③ You can share the page by clicking the toolbar icon.
----------
It should be stated as above.
Thanks for the great extension. - Rated 4 out of 5by James Carroll, 4 years agoWorked! Not "out of the box" but did work by "following my nose"--the app had step-by-step instructions that worked. Would be 5 stars if a separate piece of code wasn't needed. However, a similar "open in Chrome" also wanted to install something extra, so I figure that's to be expected when jumping outside the application. Still, would be nice if it worked entirely within the extension.

まず「ネイティブクライアント」とやらをダウンロードしてインストールすること。
次に設定画面の「Misc」という項目にある「Path to the executable」の欄に
Chromeの実行ファイルの場所を書き込む必要があります。
(Opera版では記入不要だったのでここに気がつくのに数日を要しました)
Chromeの実行ファイルの場所は自分のシステムでは次の場所でした。
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\Chrome.exe
- Rated 4 out of 5by 8394147, 7 years agoUpdate: It does work after all. The instructions for this add-on are terrible. There is an extra step they don't tell you to do: You need to go into the add-on's options, then under "misc" you need to set the "path to executable" to point to your Chrome.exe so it can connect to Chrome. I'm bumping this up to four stars because it does work (I really needed this, so thank you), but the directions need to be clearer.
Thank you to "Anonymous user eb6512" who explained this process in his/her review.
(Previous review: Doesn't work. Followed the directions exactly. Restarted Firefox. Clicking on the "Open in Chrome" button does absolutely nothing.) - Rated 4 out of 5by AcidCrash, 7 years agoSome users like when their context menu remain short and simple.
Could you please add an option to toggle appearance of "Open Link in Google Chrome" item in context menu - Rated 4 out of 5by maxmai, 7 years agoNeed to be sure to change the path in the preferences to point to chrome.exe--otherwise it does not work. This instruction should be more prominent. I learned about it from another reviewer whom I thank
