- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15138396, 6 years agoDon't waste time with this add-on. DAA or its partners could be insincere. I've tried opt-out like 20x and still get "Opt out requests for 0 participating companies were successfully completed for this browser."
- Rated 1 out of 5by LezBoyd, 6 years agoWent through the entire opt-out procedure THRICE, and every time I get the message "Opt out requests for 0 participating companies were successfully completed for this browser.", and "Opt-out requests for 134 participating companies were not completed."
I suppose its because they require you to enable Third Party Cookies in order to work, which in turn opens you up to tracking cookies from malicious ad-provider networks that are not part of the DAA. Its just better to install an ad-blocker extension and turn off third party cookies + clear cookies regularly. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14065080, 7 years agoI don't understand a word you are writing here. Bet it was written by a lawyer and not a regular user. I am totally lost. It's a worthless exercise but doing it to make the Google ad about "protecting my privacy" go away. Shame on you.
- Rated 1 out of 5by ikkibod, 7 years agoTotal BS. You frequently have to go through the same 'opt out' procedure regardless of the 'protect my choices' sign up. I use Ghostery. So much more simple. No Google, no Internet Explorer, no Safari, and no Bing. One's as bad as the other. Firefox/Mozilla and Duck Duck Go.....in conjunction with Ghostery. Love seeing all the trackers. Worth the 5 minutes off set-up. I'm a 68 year old hater of "interest based advertising". Strong enuff'?

And why do you have so many ''anonymous'' users saying it's 'good' 'nice' etc. with high ratings? Who are you kidding? by Mazarine - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14043047, 7 years agoI cannot opt out of the majority advertisers. what good is your website?
