by serg, 4 years agoSo, Mozilla fires a lot of developers because of financial problems and this is how it decides to spend some of the remaining resources? Analyzing YouTube's usage statistics? Really?
Mozilla should realize a simple fact: if Firefox dies - Mozilla dies. Developing the FOSS privacy-oriented feature-rich browser should be the main and almost single priority for Mozilla. There are tons of things to improve in Firefox.
Just an example - integrating the Tree Style Tab extension natively into Firefox would be a killer feature.
Also the Mozilla VPN was a good idea. But where is it? Why is it still not available?

- Rated 5 out of 5by fCauneau, 2 months agoExcellent module, for an excellent program. An interesting extension could concern the signalling of other practices of youTube, especially those concerning the manupilation of users during the comments.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Voidworks, 9 months agoCan't use the queue at all with this extension active. The queue automatically opens into the miniplayer while browsing, and the button to "stop recommending" completely covers the button to maximize the video, so if I start a queue I have to completely disable the extension just to properly open the video. Otherwise works fine for getting rid of the more annoying videos that keep hounding me.

- Rated 1 out of 5by NormanMcld, a year agoThis has done exactly the opposite of what I wanted. My trackpad registered a click on a recommendation that I liked and now I cannot undo it. YouTube has been told to stop recommending a video that I really liked, and that I think others would like. There seems to be no way to correct this. Bad omission.
