- Rated 5 out of 5by blasphemousdreams, 5 years agoI've been using this for a couple of years now. It makes it much easier to come up with passwords. You can determine how many characters, and what type of characters.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15586822, 5 years agoNifty! Amongst the variables one can choose which characters to include AND which characters to exclude. This is robust little calculator, wish the rest of the world would pay attention to what Martynov has done.

since passwords are more like "keys" than "locks". - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15271884, 5 years ago

One recommendation to the author: please clear the generated password after it's copied/viewed (needs a bit of thought what the best UX is), or maybe when user switches tab or something similar. I generated a password and next day I wanted to generate another one and could still see/copy the previous one. This is not good from a security perspective. - Rated 5 out of 5by Efelatte, 6 years agoSuch a great addon for generating passwords. Requires to permissions at all.
- Rated 5 out of 5by r01, 6 years agoSome websites require a minimum number of characters from a specific set of symbols which must be included. For example: 2 minimum from [~@#$%] (or some other arbitrary subset of keyboard symbols) + 2 digits minimum + upper and lower case letters with the minimum password length of 12. This extension allows you to set these kinds of rules for the passwords it generates.
You can also exclude some letters you do not like. I typically exclude letters/numbers/symbols which look similar [oO0Il1|] when I must manually type them in for sites which prevent copy and pasting from a password vault to their password field.
