by Piecevcake, a year agoGreat concept, the highlighting/capture works well, the full page view of snips is great and the highlight popup doesn't overlap Textmarker popup :), but I won't be paying $3.99/month to save images, write notes and export.
$3.99 1-off I would pay, and probably a lot of others would too.
Without export it has very limited use.
Why do you want my email address and an account? (It's persistent when you select use as guest, it should be saved locally).
Why isn't there an opt out for spying on usage. I'm unlikely to use anything which spies on me.
PDFs open in an addon tab which is a clever workaround (you could add a prefix "snip" to the page title). Highlights aren't saved when the PDF is saved to file, and the highlighted PDF tab is lost when FF is closed (the snips are kept in the my snippets page). Neither is much of a problem so long as you are aware of them.
Is there a way to remove the highlight? It's not in the right-click context menu or the pop-up, and deleting the snip and refreshing the page doesn't remove the highlight. Should be able to remove the highlight from the page, independently of the snip.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Etienne, 3 years agoI absolutely love this app! You can highlight, annotate, and screenshot almost everything on the web and in pdf. The storage options for the premium version are very generous and the app works fast and smooth. I've had no problems whatsoever. I'm a researcher and journalist and will profit from the export function a lot, since I can transfer my annotations and notes directly into a word file while keeping at least the link there as a citation. Great job! Please keep this app alive!
The only point I'm currently not so happy about (but I can understand that it takes time) is that there is no Android version at the moment. While I will use the app mostly on PC anyway, it would be more than just convenient to also access (and more importantly upload) certain PDFs and article highlights on the go. Please make this happen and make a long-term replacement of Diigo and similar services out of it. - Rated 5 out of 5by KV 6, 4 years ago

posted 4 years agoHi, we would appreciate if you can give a few more details so we can clarify any confusion. Snippet is a web & PDF highlighter that allows you to easily annotate web pages and PDF files. Is there a specific functionality that you were expecting and it was not delivered by Snippet?- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16126930, 4 years agoLove this app. Clipping bits I read is great and efficient. Easy to access the material I clipped
