- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13563640, 3 years agoJust installed this extension for searching-finding tabs in "containers" among hundreds of open tabs across many browser windows as suggested by someone over in the support forums.
I only need this BECAUSE I have those hundreds of open tabs (though I seriously need to tidy up!).
See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1360159#answer-1465135
However (per that posting), it seems to have introduced an overall sluggishness, hesitation and slowed responsiveness to using Firefox. Perhaps an update could address this?
Otherwise, a nice find -- thanks!
(later today, after many hours of browsing)
Unfortunately, I have disabled (not yet removed) this extension as I've grown tired of the performance impact due to constant hesitations and long load times of new web pages, when scrolling, switching tabs, etc.
Perhaps it works acceptably for those with far fewer tabs. Too bad for me, though... - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14831100, 3 years agoWon't stay pinned on all tabs, tried with active-pinned-tab but that other add-on doesn't work properly either. Makes it very hard to use.

posted 3 years agoHi!
I'm unfortunately not sure what feature you mean. You can pin one or multiple tabs. That's about it.
This add-on doesn't advertise functionality like active-pinned-tab. - Rated 3 out of 5by KaCii, 3 years agoIt's a good extension but I often face an issue where when I open a saved window it opens off screen and basically invisible, where i can see it if I hover over my firefox icon in the taskbar but if I try to open it up I can't see it at all (and cascading the windows doesn't help, it remains off-screen).
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14307212, 4 years agoThis add-on would get 5 stars but for a few really frustrating things. Worst is that the labels for each window (and the colors) don't remain. Instead each label becomes whatever is the open tab in its group. The most recent time I opened Firefox the labels were scrambled so that they were all on the wrong group. Another issue is that the pop up opens in the center of my screen rather than on the side no matter what I have tried to move it. Also, the groups cannot be moved around and the colors are awful. On the plus side is being able to organize tabs, to move them from one group to another and to be able to close them from within the add-on. IMHO with a few fixes this would be a great organizing tool.

posted 4 years agoWhen you open the tab manager plus popup, simply start typing. This way you can quickly find any tab - Rated 3 out of 5by CC, 4 years agoThis is an ok organizational tool for, like, a sitting. But for some reason every time I leave and come back to my computer after a day or two the headings I've set up for each open window just disappear. I have 4 windows with multiple tabs open in each, grouped by the different things I'm using those tabs for. I want to be able to easily and quickly go to the right window for what I want to do, but I always have to start by re-naming and color coding everything because it just... loses those settings after a while. It's annoying enough that I might look for a different add-on for this eventually.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Moilleadóir, 5 years agoI really want a simple extension that will let me **quickly** delete tabs I don’t need any more. There is nothing that I’ve found. This extension either needs you to search for a term or to right-click on every tab you want to close. I can predict some things that need closing but there are lots of random things on the internet and I just need a simple list, either with check-boxes or click to select (& drag to select) to quickly remove tabs. A mode where a simple click would remove a tab would be awesome.
- Rated 3 out of 5by piyush, 5 years agoAddon is good with one flaw, when you search for a tab and multiple tabs fulfill search criteria, you can't switch to a single tab using keyboard, you must click on that search result with mouse.

posted 5 years agoThanks for your review - but that is not a flaw ( as in something that's not working which was advertised ), but a feature request.

However, the window names keep switching around and disappearing. Window names are a huge part of the usefulness of this add-on, and they are unreliable.
- Rated 3 out of 5by JMC, 5 years agoIt used to be helpful, but it no longer extracts selected tabs into a new window. No matter how many times I try, out of the selected tabs it randomly chooses only one to export to a separate window, not every tab selected. Kind of negates my reason for installing the extension - as I have an extreme need to organize my many open tabs.
