- Rated 2 out of 5by Terence, a month agoIt was good at first but it has become horrible. Translations have become opposite! DO NOT TRUST! For example a phrase "I ask you not to forget" is translated "I ask you to continue to forget" Offensively WRONG on a regular basis now!
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 18798755, 2 months agoused to be decent but since a few days it's been completely borked with terrible translation from japanese->english and chinese->english. thought it was an issue on google's side but if I input the urls through google translate and translate the page that way I get the regular old translation quality again. something's funky with the extension itself, it seems. however, other translation extensions that work similarly like linguist also seem to return a very broken translation. the issue might be on the api side tbh. also side note: even before these issues the extension struggled with furigana and certain kanji, choosing to use the chinese translation instead
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14138952, 2 months agoUsed this translator for several years and today decided to give up. Very poor quality translation, distorting the meaning of the original text. This applies to all three engines - google, yandex and bing. All three cannot translate correctly.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Triggered Woody, 4 months agoWorks well, but uses far too much RAM (doubles FF's RAM consumption). I had to disable it.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13523096, 9 months agoafter the updates, TWP become annoying on my firefox mobile.
The pop-up keep showing when I swipe 3 fingers to screenshot eventhough i've set show when necessary and i've set certain languages to be not translated - Rated 2 out of 5by D C, a year ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Raygen, a year agoVery annoying bug on Android.
The translate bar will pop-up on almost every website. Even if both that language and website are added to the "do not translate" list - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 12828500, a year agoLa traduzione dell'inglese è approssimativa migliore quella di Edge
- Rated 2 out of 5by eco, a year agowhy wont it save improved translation setting? i need to set it on the same site everytime i go to a new link its quite annoying
- Rated 2 out of 5by Crsbg, 2 years agoWhile this works okay as a translator, it did however max out my CPU and had it running at 100C, something not quite right going on there.
- Rated 2 out of 5by ludwig, 2 years agoWhile it's a nice addon, it did slow down firefox considerably on page load. and am talking about seconds not miliseconds
- Rated 2 out of 5by firedoge, 2 years agoI am unsure about this addon.
Works great but I always deactivate it when not needed.
Would wish for a completely passive mode, only activated when pressing on a button.
How does the addon recognize the source language, to automatically translate it? I am pretty sure every site you visit is sent to Googles servers, which is horrible for privacy. If that is not the case, I would love to hear.Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16792305, 3 years agoEverything was fine until recently, the add-on started opening a new window with some DeepL add-on (no idea what's that) when I select a word and press Ctrl (to copy-paste it). Annoying, impossible to work. There is no such a shortcut in the settings, no idea how to fix it. Had to turn the add-on off.

posted 3 years agoWhen you set DeepL to translate the selected text, the DeepL website opens in a new window the first time you translate the selected text, if you keep the window open the next texts will be translated without changing tabs.
And in the extension settings there is an option to translate the selected text by pressing Ctrl twice, if you press Ctrl only once and this window is opening your keyboard may have a double click or something unusual is happening.

- Rated 2 out of 5by jamesmk, 4 years agoThis has been working wonderfully ever since I found it, but a few days ago the Translate Page stopped working. Which is a major problem when the webpage does not let you select text, or right-click. Making the extension pretty much worthless. If you can fix it, I'll change my rating from 2 stars to 5. Oh, and Yandex no longer works.

posted 4 years agoIf the site does not allow you to right click, press "Shift + Right Button" as you get.
When you said that Page Translation was not working, you were referring only to translation with Yandex, or with Google too. - Rated 2 out of 5by Raaf, 4 years agoŠpatný výběr slov, přeložené věty z eng do cz, někdy nedávají moc smysl. Dobrá je možnost nechat si text předčítat
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16161506, 4 years agoWhy is there no Option to "always translate this language". Its very inconvinient that i ALWAYS need to go to options --> always translate this website --> go back ---> translate. Why not just "always translate this language" ?
