by Firefox user 17524800, a year agoThis extension works wonders. Right off the bat, I don't even have to refresh my window, it just runs immediately. It just works. I tested all settings, and it did it. I know this is ChatGPT, but you have to thank the developer for making it work so well. I get drop down menus, time stamps, and, well, just, it's nice. Gave me a smile. Thank you so so much for making this, you are ducking awesome. One thing I wish though is if I could ask follow up questions to ChatGPT there, but I could just do that in a new tab. Still, I am flabbergasted that this extension only has 3k Users, as so many more people would LOVE this. Thank you!

Gave error "Unable to summarize this video. Error is: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource."
which makes no sense, and there was no easy explanation found on Google.
Waste of time.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14609268, 6 months agoSadly it doesn't work. Keeps showing "Unable to summarize this video. Error is: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource." My recommendation is to just simply copy the transcript over to your ChatGPT tab. Also it requests access to some "Allizom.org" even if you were already signed in to everything.

- Rated 4 out of 5by aboutthat, 8 months agoGood when working. How about a function generate point every $var minutes or similar? I was also not able to generate more than 23 points on firefox. Chrome did not have that issue, but I'd rather use firefox. Atm it isn't working at all on either. I'm getting this on both: Unable to summarize this video.

- Rated 1 out of 5by nols, 10 months agoRequests to log in via Google only and asks to provide data to a site called allizom.org, which doesn't exist. Very sketchy, would not recommend.
Developer response
posted 10 months agoSorry you felt it's sketchy but we don't use your credentials for anything sketchy. The login is to save your summaries for you if you re-summarize the same video and if you use the premium features like GPT-4.
allizom.org is Mozilla which is basically the creator of Firefox. This is because the login redirect back to the extension which is a Mozilla url. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18244647, 10 months ago
