This adblocker has been a godsend for a year or two now.. but it may be time to re-work the coding. Gradually, as of late, I am seeing ads pop up in my videos. I don't mind one or two ads, but I fear it'll be a matter of time before I start seeing two minutes worth of back to back to back ads again.

It makes all ads go away. It has some bugs like in youtube shorts when it skips an add youtube bug out so when you interact with the video youtube thinks you are watching the ad and not the video. 4/5 :)

after the update yesterday 21.11.24 it stopped to work :((

I'm using this Addon for years now and it has always worked perfectly until very recently because since about a week ago, because I'm getting Ads at the start of every 2nd or 3d video. Reloading the tab does usually help to make the ad go away, sometimes I have to reload twice.

(BTW, I'm also using the "Improve YouTube! (Open-Source for YouTube)"-addon from code-for-charity which - among other things - should block ads as well, and that doesn't work either at the moment.)

So I'm just rating this add-on with four stars - for now.
But as soon as it does work as good again as it did, I'll upgrade to a full fiver again. :-)

The requirement to provide permission for it to "Access your data for all websites" is my only qualm with this extension. As it only needs to work on YouTube I would have thought it would only need permission to work on YouTube (c.f. Control Panel for Twitter, for example, where that extension only requires permissions to access data for *.twitter.com and *.x.com). But it's possible there are architectural reasons why Alphabet make this more difficult. Apart from that one concern, this extension appears to work well in removing the extreme volume of advertising which makes YouTube otherwise unusable for me.

Youtube Home page doesn't show anything til reload

It doesn't work atm somehow. maybe YT stepped up their game. Still Giving 4 stars because it served me very well the last years.

Diese Erweiterung arbeitet und tut was sie soll. Leider wird auch die Adblock Removal Warning mit blockiert was dazu führt das das man nicht mehr scrollen kann bei YouTube. Meines Erachtens macht YouTube dies absichtlich das Scrollen mit der Adblock Removal Warning zu verknüpfen. Man möchte halt die Leute mit der Brechstange dazu bringen den Adblocker zu deaktivieren oder YouTube auf die Whitelist zu setzen. Mich wird YouTube nicht klein bekommen. Mein Adblocker bleibt an und ich werde YouTube nicht auf die Whitelist setzen.

Downloaded it about 5 weeks ago and worked very well. Unfortuately, it stopped yesterday as YT developers it would seem discovered it. I'm more than sure the developer of this programme will find a means to update it to working order again.

this extension was great when it worked, but now it no longer does. a few weeks ago i was able to still have but disable the extension, but now i was forced to uninstall by youtube. so, it needs a hefty update to overcome google's greedy policies as of december 6th, 2023.

Есть баг, что при активации расширения, не нажимается кнопка с тремя точками, там где скрыты опции типа сохранить в плейслист...
